Description of the Chestertown vacation home rental

Beautiful lakeside 7 bedroom home on the shores of Loon Lake in the southern Adirondacks, just 20 minutes from Gore Mountain, 25 minutes from Lake George Village and 1 hour from Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid.

The home is comprised of two separate units; one three bedroom and one four bedroom, each with full kitchens, living and dining areas and a huge shared deck. The four bedroom unit has two baths, a huge living room with fire place, leather furniture and a large eat in kitchen with a commercial griddle and keg frig. The three bedroom unit has one bath, a large living/dining area and a galley kitchen.

Cable TV is included as are two 32 inch TV's, DVD players and stereos. A gas grill is located on the deck as is an outdoor table for eight.

Downstairs is a game room with a fooseball table and dartboard. A washer and dryer is also located in the basememt. Outside is a fireplace with chairs to toast marshmellows and hotdogs.

The home is also close to cross country ski and snowmobile trails networks, the Olympic Region, restaurants and shopping. This is a great place to spend a week with the family and friends for all indoor and outdoor activities.

Lake George Village, Gore mountain and the Great Escape amusement park are within thirty minutes of the home. Lake Placid, the Olympic Village and Whiteface Mountain are a one hour drive.

You have to visit this property & lovely home. We had all the amenities of home but were away from the hustle of work. The property is surrounded by large pine trees and on the lake. We took advantage of the outside fireplace where we enjoyed some hot toddies. We enjoyed the full moon over the lake. Gore Mountain is right around the corner and we took full advantage of it, then enjoyed the home. Give it a try.
