Description of the Chicago vacation apartment rental

First floor furnished unit of an owner-occupied two-flat has three bedrooms - two large and one small. There are hardwood floors throughout the apartment. Wooden blinds in the livingroom and vinyl mini-blinds throughout the rest of the apartment. The living room, dining room and bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. The two large bedrooms have full wall closets with sliding mirror doors. The small bedroom has a typical Chicago vintage-style closet. The kitchen and bathroom have vinyl tile floors. The euro-style cabinets in the kitchen as well as the counter top are white. The white refrigerator, black dishwasher and black gas range are rather new and in excellent condition. The apartment is fully furnished. Washer and dryer available upon request. We accept cashier's check, money orders, bank transfers and cash. We DO NOT accept third party-checks. We DO NOT accept personal checks.

Area Information

The neighborhood is residential and reasonably quiet. Street parking is available. Loyola Park/Beach is three blocks to the east. Lunt/Morse El stop is four blocks away (45 minutes to the Loop). Six blocks away is the Rogers Park Metra stop (on Ravenswood, between Lunt and Greenleaf -- 20 minutes to downtown). Sheridan, and all of its buses, is
three blocks to the east. Clark is three blocks to the west. Loyola University is a 20-minute walk away. Northwestern University is also 20 to 30 minutes away if you take the train or 12 minutes if you drive.
