Perfect location and condo facilities

We stayed for a world championship sporting event. The location was a 10-15 min walk from everything. Restaurants and a giant Marianos perfect for groceries just across the quad park. The condo facilities were perfect (grill, gym, etc.), as for the condo, everything was clean and all the amenities needed were provided (full kitchen, internet/cable. in-unit laundry).

Wonderful Location

Stayed for 3 nights. Fabulous views of the Lake and the building has a terrific top floor large patio. Location is excellent - walk or short cab route everywhere. Walk along Lake Shore Dr. path past several beaches. Owner met us and was very helpful. Furnishings are modest but fine - very nice bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Many good restaurants within 5 block walk - "Old Town."

Great Condo, Great View

My family of 6 went to Chicago for a fun weekend of shopping! We had a beautiful view of the Chicago skyline! The condo was very nice and clean and was a very good choice of accomodations instead of a hotel. Buses pull up right in front of the building, very easy to catch a cab, and the train was right around the corner. Esther & Grace were great to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving in Chicago

This was our first visit to Chicago. This property was not within walking distance of the Navy Pier or Mag Mile at this time of year for us,(cold and windy) however public tranportation was close by. Not sure when the last time the property had visitors, kitchen and bath drains had an odor that would not go away, and drains were very slow. Drinking glasses had lipstick prints on them that we could not get off. Cobwebs lined the top of the east windows, but we did not see any bugs. Doormen were great. People in Chicago were friendly and helpful.

We were 2 couples in late 20's/early 30's on a fun vacation, our first time in Chicago. Although making the booking was a little scary online without seeing the place, we received the keys a few days before and felt better. The location was great, 2 blocks from a red line subway stop and seemed very safe. The apartment is clean, beds are comfortable. bathrooms are nice. General furnishings are fine, though if a little more thought were put into them (instead of just buying the cheapest possible stuff from Ikea), this place could be really amazing. Great deal compared to the hotels. So nice to have a (gorgeous) kitchen!

We had a great time staying in the condo. The location was perfect, near everything and easy to taxi whereever. The corner rooms had a great view to Hancock, lake, even Sear's Tower.

My kids had never been to Chicago before and they LOVED it. The condo was perfect for our quick visit. Andrew (the owner) was easy to contact and very helpful. We enjoyed being able to walk to many restaurants, Michiagan Ave and coffee (connected to our building). Great views. Doormen were fantastic. We can't wait to return to Chicago.

Amazing view and location

It's our 3rd time renting a house or a condo for our family vacations and it's still a very good way to travel. My husband and I wanted to see Chicago for a while now and we appreciate every minute of our stay in this condo with our kids. We park our car dowstair, bought a week pass of bus and subway and we add only to walk a few blocks to reach bus routes and subway exit to go everywhere : Field museum, Shedd aquarium, Lincoln park zoo, etc. We were blocks away from Art Instittute museum, Millenium park and Navy Pier. After a full day exploring Chicago, I enjoy sipping my galss of wine around the pool with the kids. Every night, I sat in front of the windows to look at downtown and Michigan Lake. I will never forget this view. It's more expensive than some locations far downtown but it's a worth value. You save time and energy with the kids and you can enjoy the great view!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Being near the "Museum Campus" was a bonus. Close to transportation and groceries was important to us. Our only disappointment was that we could not see the Navy Pier fireworks from the apartment. However, Chicago did one better by giving us a thunder storm that was fascinating for hours!

The location was great, the view, spectacular from the 37th floor! Too bad the windows were dirty on the inside. Other than that clean but short on wash cloths and light bulbs. Would recommend to others.

Warm, Beautiful, Inviting Home away from Home!

The location of The Casa was not only quaint, but PERFECT! It was so wonderful to come "home", after a long, COLD day to this beautifully decorated home, have a nice quiet dinner after the RUSH of the day, and end it with a Soothing soak in the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was the KIDS' favorite for sure! I'd have to say mine was the incredibly comfy bed in the master bedroom. The Hosts were so friendly, and available for help, or questions/suggestions. Thank you SO much for allowing us to experience a piece of heaven in Little Italy, at The Casa! We'll be BACK!

Fantastic aparment with fantastic views

We had a wonderful week in Chicago and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The apartment has all the ameneties of home with a fantastic view of Chicago. We had easy access to all the major tourist spots with the Field museum, Shedd Aquarium, the Planetarium and Soldier Field all within 15 minutes walk (great game between the Bears and the Eagles) Fantastic service from Esther and Grace and very helpful staff in the building. Overall we have a greay time in Chicago (what a city) and want to thank all the staff we came into contact with. Would definitely recommend staying at the Sky55 building and would stay there again. This condo was in the perfect location....close to all of the museums and parks and just minutes to the shopping district. The ladies that own the condo were fantastic and easy to work with. I would definitely rent this property again!

Beautiful view; easy access to the EL and bus. Very, very nice condo with wood floors and incredible floor to ceiling windows. Loved it. Only teensy gripe is that the master bath drain didn't work well. Otherwise, quite lovely and I will definitely rent the property again.

This condo was an excellent value, with an amazing lake view. Owner was very helpful. My only piece of advice would be, it would be great to have some sort of stereo or boombox, for music. Also, if you are looking for a property in the Michigan Ave shopping, this isn't it. This is right near Soldier field and museums.

The location is abslutely ideal, across from Grant Park, and the views are stunning. The condo is well kept, spacious, and the grocery on the ground floor has almost everything you might need. Cable TV and WiFi internet works! The hosting agency is fine to work with.

Perfect Chicago vacation spot

We spent five days/nights here. The location really is perfect for families hoping to visit the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium and the beautiful nearby parks and shops. Public transportation was only a few steps away and very convenient to use. We absolutely loved the condo - it was clean and lived up to our expectations based on what we saw/read online.
