Rent a Mansion in Chicago! (#28579)

Write a review We loved the neighborhood and the house was fabulous! Thanks! I moved to Chicago in July and am getting married in May. We wanted to do something fun for all my girlfriends flying in from East and West coast. We thought a house would be great for the bach party. probably the best idea we have ever had. I couldnt have been happier! 10 girls, enough beds, big kithen and great roof deck. We all caught up, drank wine and had the bridal shower in the house. Such a great bonding experience and what a gorgeous house!!! Would recommend to anyone and I have!!!! Thank you! This house was huge, and it was perfect for a few friends to get together. The location is very close to everything you need, and the owners were so kind and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay. The apartment was excellent! Very nice, clean and well stocked w/ toiletries and plenty of towels. We had 2 of the 3 floors reserved and it was very convenient for our big group of girls. The location is ideal for local shopping and is walking distance from Wrigley Field. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely stay there again. I recently hosted a group of out of town guests at these 2 gorgeous homes in Wrigleyville. And let me tell you, I was exceptionally happy with the homes. Both have exquisite interiors, perfect for entertaining! Although I didnt sleep in any of the beds, they looked comfortable and all the bedrooms we large. Each house has very good outdoor access for grilling out, or sitting out in the sun. The kitchen and bathrooms are all very new with top of the line finishings. I was truly honored to have my friends stay here. On to the neighborhood. The houses are a mere 1 block from Southport which has lots of bars and restaurants (to say nothing of the Daily Queen!). Wrigley is 3 blocks away. Southport & wrigleyville areas are 2 of the better 'true' Chicago neiborhoods, and these homes allow for excellent access. In short- I couldnt recommend these homes more to anyone who is looking to stay in a high end rental in the best areas of the Wingy City. Questions? Feel free to email This place is incredible! The house is fully wired for audio/video and is in a location that can't be beat. Great food, bars, and of course Wrigley are all in an easy walking distance. The mansion and I mean mansion was the perfect place to spend a weekend in Chicago. With an ideal location blocks from Wrigley and all that the North Side has to offer our time there was fabulous. The house and those involved with the house were amazing! Thanks!! Jim This house is amazing. So much better (and way nicer) than staying at hotel. Perfect for 6-8 friends meeting up in Chicago. Five blocks from Wrigley - coolest neighborhood. Great deck. Basement w/ pool table and bar is cool as hell. The shower for the master bedroom is ridiculous - something like 7 shower heads/spouts. You will not be disappointed!! Beautiful home in a great neighborhood within walking distance to shops and restaurants.Very comfortable and modern, I'll certainly plan on coming back. This house was abosutely stunning. A perfect house for a girl's getaway. We were a bit nervous about the location in comparison to downtown but it was great. A cab downtown was reasonable and the train stop nearby. The house is situated in a great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants/bars and cute boutiques. Everthing listed was as promised. There may have been a typo but the house listed a hot tub which was not on the premises. Would love to rent this house again. It was hard to step out to see Chicago once you got cozy in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. Great accomodations for a group. Thanks Lena and Tom for all your help. It was a great weekend. This house is amazing...Wrigleyville mansion for sure! We were so excited to explore once we arrived and the house just seemed to keep going & going! It is beautiful, a true treasure. One problem - we couldn't work the DVD player because of the high tech tv / radio / dvd system. Our group of gals have been getting togther for over 30 years, going to Chicago was a first for many of us and our stay in the house in Wrigglyville was a real treat! I highly recommend this house to any group that wants to be pampered in a well appointed home with comfortable beds,a gourmet kitchen and wonderful amenities. The owner and his staff were delightful and helpful. Can't recommend this enough!
