The Maud House is a two story guest house, with two bedrooms on the 2nd floor, each with a queen size bed and private bathroom. There is full eat in kitchen and living room with sleeper sofa and private bathroom on the 1st floor. The oversized yard boasts a beautiful private garden, grill, and plenty of space to gather. that guests can enjoy from May until October. The home is walking distance to Armitage Street which is filled with boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. The elevated subway is just a 5 minute walk away and take you downtown in just 15 minutes.

Family Graduation Visit

We brought all our kids and grandkids in to Chicago to celebrate our youngest daughter's graduation from college. There were several of us, and many different schedules of coming and going. The location worked out great to both airports and to all the activities we planned; museums, ballgames, and just visiting. The apartment was great and gave us each space to gather or get time by ourselves. The bathroom arrangement of 2 showers but only one toilet, took some getting use to, but worked out fine. The weather didn't always give us a clear view of the John Hancock building, but we were able to get a few quick views from the living room sofa. The office staff was very responsive and patient with our phone calls. I'll definitely recommend the location and apartment to friends. The celebration of a milestone was enhanced by the welcoming location and office staff.

Great place in Chicago

July 7, 2011

This was a perfect place for my family - 3 couples and each had their own bathroom. Rooms were lovely. Even though it was an older building, all the rooms and bathrooms and kitchen had been updated. Kichen was stocked for breakfast which was wonderful!! I worried about parking but got a parking pass for the street and parking was never an issue. I would definitely stay there again.
