Description of the Clayton vacation cabin rental

Rustic cabin in the beautiful Smoky Mountains with custom woodwork throughout. The masterbedroom is on the main level with a king bed, another bedroom upstairs has a queen bed and shares a bathroom with an adjoining loft that has two twin beds. Beautiful views of three states can be seen from this property. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a wood burning fireplace.

The cabin is conveniently located on Screamer Mountain, so is just a short 10 minute drive to the cute town of Clayton. Also nearby is the Chatooga river, the Tallulah river and gorge and the Dillard House.

This is a place you can truly feel like you "got away from it all". The cabin does offer satellite television, but does not have a landline phone or internet connection.

Area Description

Clayton, Ga is a darling town with restaurants, basic shopping and antique shopping. The Dillard house is about 15 minutes away and access to the Tallulah River and Chatooga River area also just 15 minutes away.

Just a perfect beautiful mountain getaway!, October 22, 2009

This cabin was absolutely perfect,high up on the mountain, very private,beautiful view. Fireplace was beautiful, the weather was very cold so we really enjoyed the cozy fire. Master bedroom was very comfortable and decorated very nicely. We are hikers so we loved that we could be at the Bartram trail in 5 minutes from the cabin. We would highly reccommend this beautiful cabin, it looked like they were going to finish the basement which would be ideal for a large family.
