This house was more than over-rated and over-charged for. It was filthy and we needed to get it cleaned. Even after the cleaning, the rugs were filthy, the floors were stained. The livingroom furniture stained. It is in disrepair. We could not use the pool; it had dirt and debris in it. Garbage was left over from prior weeks. The rental agent was unreliable and non-responsive. Need we say more? Find somewhere else to stay.

Our idea of our vacation was to come to Florida and relax in this beautiful home that we found on the internet ("Sun Lake"). However, we found ourselves very displeased upon arrival. The property was listed having air conditioning, which is pretty important in sunny Florida. Long story short it did not work upon arrival and after three visits from an air conditioning man it worked all of about 3 days of the 10 that we were there. And what really topped it all off, was that the owners WOULD NOT compensate any $$$ off of our stay. We understand that they are not liable due to wording in the "CONTRACT", however we feel as though they could have bent those rules considering the circumstances. But all they wanted to offer was an extra day (which was impossible considering we already had plane tickets), then it was $150 off our NEXT stay, then it went to 20% off the NEXT stay. ALL OF WHICH WE WERE UNSATISFIED WITH!!!!! Considering the stay that we did have with them, and their unwillingness to compensate, WHY WOULD WE WANT TO STAY WITH THEM AGAIN?????? A great business man should try to make his customers as happy as possible if he is wanting future business. Oh, I forgot to mention that I also referred so friends to them and they too rented from them at the same time and their air DID NOT work either. Which is really funny to me. The "Sun Lake" property is listed as everything being NEW. Then why would the air conditioning not work???? Because it was not a new unit. They also listed it having a garage. Sure it had a garage, three in fact, however, THEY WERE FULL OF FURNITURE. We were unable to part in the garage. Now don't get me wrong. The house it's self was nice. It was the air conditioning and their unwillingness to compensate our present stay. It wasn't like we were paying a couple hundred dollars them for a nice relaxing stay, NO.... we paid almost $2000.00 for 10 days. And to have to spend most of the time that we were there in a house that was 85 degrees, with did I mention 13 people (7 of which were children ranging from 1-6). MISERABLE!!!!!!!
