3 bedroom /2 bath on the brow at Eagles Roost. Beautiful 2 story cedar house with a red tin roof, perfect for an afternoon rain shower. Built from local hardwoods, this is an authentic mountain home with all the charm you would expect. Off a private road, you will find this getaway with ample den with buck stove and vaulted ceiling fully opening onto huge deck. Open these doors and this space turns your den and deck into one room. . . an indoor /outdoor living area.
The deck features new 8 person hot tub , comfortable outdoor den furniture including a sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman surrounding your slate coffee table/ gas fire pit adjacent to a large teak dining table and umbrella and gas starting charcoal Coleman grill. In the center of the deck is a bar overlook that enhances the vast view of the valley and distant mountains.
Small screen porch is adjacent to dining room. Just open the double doors for al fresco dining. The next time you see an ad for Lookout Mountain vacations you will swear the pictures were taken from this very deck. Large master with king bed downstairs with private bath and private large jetted tub. 2 upstairs guest rooms. Queen bed in 2nd guest room and trundle bed in 3rd room share 2nd bath with private entry from 2nd bedroom.
2 hours from Atlanta, 2 hours from Birmingham, 45 minutes from Chattanooga.Close to Chicamunga Battlefield and Grandview. Minutes from Cloudland Park, Desoto Park, hang gliding, white water rafting, kayaking, mountain climbing, fishing, the quaint mountain village of Mentone AND SECONDS from your private deck.(usually a small waterfall and rambling stream on each side adds to the stress numbing atmosphere.)

Visit Chattanooga and its amazing aquarium. Hike or just tour nearby state parks -- Cloudland State Park, Little River Canyon. Great place!

We were in the house over the Vereans Day week end. It was a great place! Well equipped for cooking. Comfortable for sleeping and hanging out! A great deck with a gas fireplace and hot tub. The view is awsome! If you go, be sure to check out Mentone, AL. A cute little town. We highly recommend it and will be back!

Wonderful Getaway!

This cabin was great. The area was very quiet with an awesome scenic view. Very relaxing. We had a great time, and fell in love with the area, and took some nice walks down the wooded roads. It's a great getaway for peace and quiet. Thank you for your rental - such a wonderful place.

The fact that Ridgetop is on a private road really does create a feeling of peace and quiet. Since the den opens to living area on the deck, the scenic view and nature around can be enjoyed inside and out. The northeast Ga. mountains and northeastern Al. have some of the most beautiful state parks to be enjoyed.

Perfect Spot for Wife's 50th Birthday Celebration

We spent a couple nights in the cabin to celebrate my wife's birthday and she loved it!! the view was awesome and we were blessed with great weather for January. The house was comfortable and cozy at the same time; it was well-stocked in the kitchen and also had plenty of firewood for the Buckstove which was so nice. The back deck was large and the hot-tub was wonderful - yes, it is a good one. The decor in the house was nice and was interesting (lots of good books too...). The outdoor fire pit added a nice touch and help keep everyone warm too. And did I mention the view??? again, it was just awesome during the day and at night. Regarding functinality and the reservation and check-in process, everything was convenient and organized and no problems whatsoever. I have already told a number of friends about the place and sent the link; I would highly recommend booking a stay here. Very peaceful and serene and I am certain my wife and I will be back again soon. Barry Johnson

This was one of the most amazng places in the workd. The waterfall just outside the bedroom window was an extra touch that made the visit that much more magical! Take my advice and book this rental NOW! The owners are amzzing! :-)

This Is Our Second Visit Here, The View Is Spectacular The Deck Is Great With The Hot Tub And Fire Pit, The Cabin Is So Cute And Comfy, My Three Sisters Get Together Yearly And This Is Where We Spent It This Year, Plenty Of Room And Plenty To Do. Had A Wonderful Time Again, I Am Sure We Will Do This Again And Again. Feel Like It Is Our Home Away From Home.

Beautiful home with fabulous view

We could not have asked for a more perfect place. The view of the mountains and the valley was fabulous. The mountains had a blue haze at the top which reminded me of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The sound of the waterfall was very relaxing as we sat in the hot tub on the deck. Best of all, the deck and front yard were very safe for our small dogs. The overall atmosphere of the cabin was so friendly, we felt like we were at home. We will definitely be back for the Fall color.
