We spent a week in 402 Sandcastle with our two young grand children, and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. The complex is right on the beach, it was clean, quiet, well maintained, and parking was excellent. The unit itself was stocked with everything needed to cook, do laundry and play on the beach. I would recommend it to anyone.

Clean, everything necessary to have a great stay is provided. Steps for beach. Quiet, close to shopping if you need to stock fridge.

We live in Orlando and go over to Cocoa Beach several times a year. Our favorite place is Sandcastles and this particular unit is very well kept up and has everything you'd need.

Great beach, good location, unit needs work

Good news first... the unit is on one of the nicest beaches I have ever seen with consistent waves, fine clean sand and not too many other swimmers. The unit is in a good location with easy access to the A1A and 528 and many good restaurants. The layout of the condo was good and served our needs well. Now the bad news... when we moved in the unit had not been well cleaned: there was sand on the floor and wastebaskets still had garbage in them. Many of the dishes and much of the silverware was missing. The balcony door did not lock (an issue with small children on the fourth floor). There were no garbage bags, sponges or laundry detergent and minimal toilet paper and hand soap. The owner did not provide a hair dryer - the first rental we have visited that did not. We attempted to contact the owner regarding these issues but our call was not returned. The advertised rate for the week we stayed was $1,000. When I called to make a reservation, however, the owner informed me that the rate was $1,600 due to demand brought by the scheduled last shuttle launch. Since VacationHomRentals allows the owner to post different rates by week I found this misleading.

It was a wonderful condo! Very spacious with many amenities. The weather was beautiful the entire week so we lucked out. We enjoyed both the ocean and the pool

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo with convenience, comfort, and beautiful view. All the needed amenities were available. The rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying there again.

We thought we were renting a completely renovated condo that slept 6. It had a new kitchen, new tile floors etc. BUT, the bathrooms were a DISAPPOINTMENT (the stalls have obviously NOT been remodeled). They were discolored & made creaking sounds. On the plus side the view from the roof top deck --WOW! worth the trouble of getting a key.

Enjoyed the condo and the Cocoa Beach area. Only problem was the elevator code was incorrect and the vertical blinds in the bedroom were in need of repair. We had to put up beach towels to cover the windows. We notified the owners who said they knew about the problem and would fix it later. I think that should have been fixed if you knew about it. The elevator code we had to ask around and wait about 10 minutes before someone came around to let us upstairs and they told us the number that they used 801.
Back home after a wonderful month in Florida. I could list 10 reasons why we enjoyed Cocoa Beach for the first time, but most important is # one. The beautiful accommodations we had at 402 Sandcastle. The unit was very well done in every way.
