Your most memorable family vacation yet is waiting for you at this northern Idaho ranch. This home is located on 10 fully fenced acres of trees and pastures, with an additional 280 acres adjacent to the property dedicated to hiking and horseback riding. This secluded property is a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the great outdoors with your family or friends.

This guest house has 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen for preparing meals. The grill master in your party will be able to display their skills on the grill outside, and there are multiple outdoor dining areas on the property for you and your traveling companions to enjoy the mountain views during mealtime. After a long day of mountain or lake activities, you and the family will love kicking back and relaxing with a movie on one of the flat-screen TVs, or reading on the wrap-around porch. A rover-style 4WD ATV is available for guests who want to explore the property with some extra speed! This ranch also has animals that you and your family can feed, such as horses, alpacas and seasonal baby chicks. Staff can also provide you and your family with additional services during your stay, such as private chef service, airport or ski shuttle, wildlife photography tour, horseback riding or cooking classes.

Located 30 miles from Spokane near the lake of Coeur d’Alene, this area of Idaho is often referred to as ‘a little slice of heaven.’ Rent boating equipment during your stay and venture the seas of one of the state’s most popular lakes. Spend time sunning on the shoreline or biking alongside scenic views. Lace up your hiking boots and explore National Parks and trails. Plenty of retail therapy and fine dining awaits you in town, but you’ll especially love retreating back to your home away from home on the ranch!

Area Information
The Coeur d'Alene area is surrounded by dozens of lakes left behind by the glaciers of the ice age. There are more than 55 lakes within easy driving distance of Coeur d'Alene, but none more scenic and full of activities than Lake Coeur d'Alene itself.

There's something magical about Lake Coeur d'Alene that's hard to define, but it begins with the spectacular North Idaho sunsets and moonrises, the plunge of an osprey after a fish, the glowing lights of downtown Coeur d’Alene reflecting across its waters at night.

Fabulous Stay

If you are looking for a quiet get away and want to be out of town but 10 minutes away from town, this ranch is the place. Pastoral ranch setting, open rolling hills, pines, alpacas, chickens, goats and puppies! We didn't make use of the chef service so can't speak to that. Very comfortable private home, we were there when weather was in full winter mode...the home was warm and comfy. The ranch is also located pretty close to downtown CdA for convenient access to the lake, town and freeways but secluded at the same time. Road access is easy even in snow. Home has all you need for your stay, just need to add food and wine. Full chef's kitchen, plenty of sheets, towels etc. Also has a nice warm hot tub overlooking the valley.

A week on the this ranch was one of the best vacations I have ever had!

Simply put, our stay here was far better than we had anticipated!! Everything was just perfect...the ranch house, the views, the animals, the chef prepared dinner and the host, Michael. My son fell in love with all the animals! We were fortunate to see the new 5 hour old baby alpaca on July 6th. Tyler loved her and even named her "Emily" :) Seeing him with the animals so good for my soul! We truly enjoyed our week there and cannot wait to go back!

We Love it Here

We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Coeur d'Alene! The property is beautiful, the house is lovely and the owner's thoughtfulness in the details is above and beyond anything we've experienced in other homes we have rented. We arrived very late, so my favorite surprise was when I went to make morning coffee and it was already prepped. :) It is a comfortable place to be and we just wanted more time to enjoy it.

What I liked best about this accommodation

The view, morning coffee prepped and ready to go

Incredible experience

We arrived not knowing what to expect, thinking it was a small house, but would be adequate. To our surprise the house was large, about 1000 sq ft with a fabulous kitchen, breathtaking views from its large covered patios and beautifully decorated rooms. The alpacas greeted us with curiosity and gentleness; they eat food right out of your hands! We were so blessed to see the arrival of a new baby alpaca during our stay, 3 baby goats and a beautiful horse named Jazz. What an experience my husband, standard poodle and myself have had, we will definitely be booking a week stay again, 2 days just wouldn't be long enough for anyone. I also want to mention Mike, the owner/manager of the property, he is wonderful, knowledgeable and sincerely cares about your stay, his thoughtful personality is genuine and his stories are so much fun! Mike's side kick, Kona, a gentle giant, she's an English Mastiff with the sweetness of a puppy yet agility of a lion, she and our dog immediately became best friends. I just had to write about our experience, you can't go wrong with your vacation staying here!
