Spend mornings on your sun drenched deck watching the boaters go by. A nearby boat slip is available, and feel free to coffee and cocktail on our party boat on the water!
A wood stove provides ambiance to the living area, with knotty pine stairs leading to the loft above for the kids. Two additional bedrooms are also upstairs along with a full bath, and one bedroom is down stairs, with a bath and shower. Both the bath and shower have massaging shower heads. Of course, all appliances, including toaster, blender, coffee maker, and washer and dryer are modern, as are the plumbing and electricity. (GFIC)
The large deck has a dining table that seats eight, an oversized umbrella, and the modern stainless BBQ is propane fired. Of course, the lake view goes for miles and miles, and you can stay warm outside at night by firing up the fire pit on cooler evenings.
The kids and adults too will enjoy the Restoration Hardware mini-pool table and the many dozens of movies on DVD, on one large flat screen TV.
You'll be less than 3 miles from downtown Coeur d'Alene's shopping, restaurants, and the Coeur d'Alene Resort, yet set in a secluded area of pines and firs, overlooking Cougar Bay's logging pens and miles of lake views. Watch Coeur d'Alene's famous fireworks on the 4th of July and the Friday following Thanksgiving from the comfort of your own deck!
One of Coeur d'Alene's best restaurants, The Cedars, a floating restaurant and the Yacht Club Marina is but 3 minutes away! Pick Idaho's famous Huckleberries (similar to the blueberry) right on the property, and enjoy fresh herbs, vegetables, and fruits right from your garden!

Our family of 6 had a fantastic time in this spacious yet cozy cabin. Kids who are aged 1, 4 and 13 (2), had a blast playing tetherball, horseshoes, croquet, lego, board games, watching movies and hot tubbing. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. It was great to get there after our long drive from Canada and not have to worry about getting paper products, spices, oils, towels, soaps- these were all provided! Every kitchen appliance and utensil you could imagine. Fans in every room kept us nice and cool. There was equipment for every sport imaginable, 4 bikes, a kids pool, fishing rods, paper and crayons, etc, etc. We also used their Idaho and Spokane handbooks more than once to help us decide where we wanted to go. The location is perfect in a little holiday community on the lake yet, up on a hill surrounded by trees so you feel like you have your own private getaway. It is 20 minutes to almost everywhere you'd want to go- Silverwood, Coeur D'Alene, Spokane, Post Falls, Farragut State Park- we did them all! What a fantastic family holiday- even our 13 year olds want to come back. Would definitely return to this great place!
