Description of the Coeur d'Alene vacation home rental

You can stay just 3 blocks from the city beach and park! Take a short stroll to many of the downtown activities and events. Located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods, the historic "Fort Grounds". This quaint house was built in the 1940's and has been completely updated throughout. It is a very clean and comfortable 1,400 sq. feet of home away from home, offering all of the amenities. All on one level, and offers two bedrooms with a king and a queen bed, and a full bathroom with a stack washer/dryer. This adorable guest cottage has a separate entrance and its own parking. It has been recently updated with new paint, carpet, and stainless steel appliances, and has an additional bonus area with a futon bed, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living area makes room for more. This house also includes your own private barbeque area and patio set as well.

Come visit Coeur d'Alene year round with plenty of shopping & dining. Enjoy the outdoors for hiking, biking, water activities, and numerous award-winning golf courses to choose from. The height of the season starts in June when The "Ironman Triathlon" arrives, but don't miss the "Car d'Lane Classic Car Show" Father's Day weekend. People come for miles to experience "Fourth of July" and a spectacular fireworks display over Lake Coeur d'Alene. Art on the Green starts in August featuring more than 100 artists, food, live music, and street fair. The North Idaho Fair & Rodeo also later in the month. September offers the Antique & Classic International Boat Show @ the Cd'A Resort boardwalk. And through the holidays, enjoy our Thanksgiving "Lighting Ceremony" & fireworks. Featured on Good Morning America, it is "the largest on the water resort holiday light show in America". Also, venture to any of our four nearest ski resorts, Schweitzer, Silver Mountain, Lookout, and Spokane Mountain. All within an hour's drive.

Great house, location and correspondence by the owners. Having three levels was perfect-- all 6 of us easily slept there. Quiet location in a beautiful neighborhood. We could have parked the car and walked wherever we wanted to go--beach, hiking, cliff jumping, shopping, eating, swimming, rentals, etc....

This is a great house! The location is fabulous for both hanging at the lake and for a trip to Silverwood. The home came complete with all amenities. The owners were pleasant and accomodating and even provided instructions to all the necessessities as well as inside tips for restaurants and things to do! Would definatately stay again!
