A Great Hide-Away

September 13, 2012

We stayed at this sweet property for a week in late August. The host was friendly and accommodating. The property was very quiet and comfortable; all a small family could need for a relaxing vacation, with still plenty of room to entertain guests. (We had family in the area who all came and loved the place.) My husband and I had coffee every morning in the hot tub, and watched the mist rise from the river as geese flew by sounding their morning call. The boat house was stocked with water toys, and even though the rudder on the paddle boat was broken, the 2 person kayak was wonderful for paddling around the island. It was a beautiful and relaxing place that we did not want to leave. We will surely stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in this home, it was truly a home away from home. Convenient to have kitchen and a BB, had an awesome time! Everything was perfect, relaxing and loved the view.

This was a perfect home for us, our daughters loved the private dock, paddle boat, and the kayak. The house was very clean and there was plenty of everything from bottled water, paper towles, paper plates .... We will rent it again and recomended to all my friends and everyone.

Perfect house for our girls weekend. Everything was so clean and ready for us not to mention the extras like paddle boat, hot tub, bottled water, ice, paper products. We loved staying here!
