Description of the Cold Springs vacation cabin rental

This three story cabin offers the first story to our guests. Quiet,private, with separate level entry. Enjoy a fully remodeled space, including a lovely wildlife mural in the kitchen. Propane fireplace, electric fireplace in the bedroom. Large tiled bath with dual shower heads. Room to spread out with a lovely view of your private lot and BBQ area for roasting marshmallows!
Queen size bed with futon bed for the kids. Ski, sled, snowshoe, and hike in the summer.
Owners are experienced backpackers who lead hikes with notice.

Area Description

Located 10 minutes from Dodge Ridge Ski Are, 5 minutes from Pinecrest Lake in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountains. Large lot with adjoining lot next door. Pitch a tent on the sleeping deck in the summer. Enjoy a BBQ at the fire pit, play horseshoes, or sing around the campfire.
Plenty of room for sled runs in the winter.

Other Vacation Rental Amenities

Three great pizza places, Mia's, Pie in the Sky, and The Prospector. Visit The Steam Donkey in Pinecrest for a delicious dinner and cocktails. Enjoy Mexican food at La Morenita.
Pinecrest Lake is a very popular destination. The resort offers swimming, hiking, fishing, camping, boating, and outdoor movies for the family all summer. You can also get married at their outdoor Amphitheater! We did! This cabin is the perfect HONEYMOON SUITE!
Take a drive over the Sonora Pass for an unbelievable Sierra experience. Drive 20 miles to the town of Tuolumne for some gambling fun or live entertainment at the Black Oak Casino.

Visit historic Columbia, Jamestown, and Sonora for authentic Wild West entertainment, theater, antiques, shopping, and more great food!

We spent some time here last year. What a peaceful, tranquil setting! The perfect place to get away yet so close to fun activities. Great for a romantic weekend or a family trip. Cozy but not small-plenty of room!
