All of the beds have mattress pads: All of the beds in the Little Lake House have Serta 400 thread count Egyptian Cotton mattress pads on them, and all the sheets are a minimum of 400 thread count for a good nights sleep. All bedding and mattress pads will be sanitized, germicidal UV(for cold and flu prevention) and laundered prior to a next guests visit, including the comforters. What are the beneficial uses of germicidal uv? Ultraviolet technology is a non-chemical approach to disinfection. In this method of disinfection, UV-C light is germicidal - i.e., it deactivates the DNA of bacteria, viruses and other pathogens and thus destroys their ability to multiply and cause disease.
Air quality - You can breathe at ease with us: We have The Germ Guardian® UV-C Room Air Sanitizer, which kills over 99% of airborne bacteria, and so quiet you won't even realize it is on site. UV-C light is used in hospitals and is highly effective at killing common germs and viruses. It is a chemical-free way to sanitize the air. A/C Filters - Allergen Air filters are changed out every week.
Well stocked Kitchen: A Well Stocked Kitchen, yes that is correct, reynold's wrap, zip-lock bags, ketchup, mustard, mayo, steak sauce, sea salt, pepper, Tony's seasoning, ice tea bags, coffee, hot coco, cream and sugar to mention the basics are all included. The Cape Royale's Little Lake House is like staying at a friends home. We don't want you spending your trip running back and forth to a store going I need foil. We have a picnic table for 4 that converts into a nice bench, umbrella, outside table for two near the big smoker out back. We also have fold up chairs for additional seating for 7 and a little fire pit so you can enjoy the outside. But wait there's more...
Golf: Set amidst some of East Texas most breathtaking landscapes. Cape Royale Country Club incorporates the natural rolling hills along the western shores of Lake Livingston to bring Houston and the surrounding areas a unique and welcome change of pace from the mostly flat courses in the urban market. Constructed in the early 70's by the developers of The Woodlands, the 18-hole course features dramatic elevation changes and breath taking views of the Lake. The Cape, as the course is more affectionately known, has quiet and enjoyable rounds awaiting golfers of all skill levels, and the best burgers money can buy. So whether a single digit handicapper, or a first-timer, the challenge isn?t the only reason golfers continue coming back for more. Golfers from all over Texas (including some of Houston finest sports writers) and Louisiana have been blessing our course with praise for over 30 years. The Cape is everything you would expect from a golfing experience.

I spent my mornings enjoying my coffee and feeding the deer out front. They have plenty of space, it is very private. The house was clean with a large living area, leather couches, lots of pillows and throw blankets for the late night movie channels, they had popcorn, and they even had a massaging chair perfect after a long day out in the heat. The owners welcomed me with a big gift basket, I had plenty of everything I needed. I have stayed at 4 different places in the Cape Royale, but I'll be returning here in the fall.
The extra amenities were a big plus, thank you for your great attention to details.

Everything was PERFECT!! pictures were right on and we had the best time. Extra nice, this home in on a culdesac, great for young children. There was plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, toys to take to the pool and to play with at the house, spices, condiments in the kitchen. Kitchen was also fully stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. We all had a great time and will be back in the future! Thanks for the perfect, no problem vacation !!!!

"We came to the Cape Royale to go on a guided fishing tour of Lake Livingston, we almost came up short, but some last minute fishing at the Cape Royale Marina ensured our dinner. We highly recommend fishing at the Marina. The House was great plenty of room, clean, and had much more than we would have expected. Thank you Little Lake House

Well, we are home - just wanted to thank you again for everything! You are a very kind, generous landlord!! I don't think we left anything accidentally. I went thru the house twice, but let me know if you find anything that does not belong.
Thanks again for everything. I was just putting away all the shower products you left in the gift basket. I will enjoy them!!

We had an execellent experience with the Little Lake House! The house was close to Lake Livingston and an area golf course, and was clean, very comforable, nicely decorated, and well stocked. We were surprised to see so many personal touches and many items were available for our use -- condiments for food, soaps/shampoos, an ice chest, games, washer/dryer, on and on. Out pet was even welcome! The property owner was there at our arrival to show us around and made us feel welcome and at home. We *highly* recommend this property and will definately be back!
