Description of the Collbran vacation home rental

The veiws from this beautiful, quality built log home borders Vega State Park and overlooks Vega Reservior . At 8000ft. the air is fresh and the veiws are breathless.
This home has a master loft bedroom (king size bed) with sitting area overlooks the lake from 12' high windows. Master bath with big jaccuzi tub and shower. The main level has a kitchen which is a chefs dream with hickery cabnets and large pantry. Living room big screen tv with satellite, dinning room, laundry room, and powder room (tolet and sink). Large trex deck out front door, and side, with table and chairs. Wired surround system for listening to music outside. Lower level has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. Family room and a bath with shower. big screen tv. The couch makes into a queen size bed. Walk outside to a large deck, plenty of seating, and hot tub with covered gazebo. There's a pond in the front and back yard, which the deer love to come and drink from. Gas grill for outdoor cooking. You never know what kind of wildlife you may see from any window or deck.
Boat ramp is 1/2 mile, resturant and bar 1 mile, Grand Mesa National Forest access is 3 and 1/4 mile away. This property is very privite on 6 acres. Hike to your hearts content. Has all aminities, just bring your clothes, food, boat, atv's. snowmoble.
Do to the abundance of wild life, small dogs only 25 lbs and under, must be house broke and OKed by owner.

Area Description

This log home is located on the Southeast corner of the Grand Mesa, which is the largest flat top mountains in the world. Vega Reservior is about 2 miles long when full making it the largest body of water in the Grand Valley. It's also one of the most productive fisheries. In addition to boating and fishing, water sports such as water-skiing, windsurfing and jet skiing are allowed.
Wildlife here are deer, elk, beaver, weasels, chipmunks, marmots, hawks, blue grouse, wild turkey, and many kinds of water fowl. Bears, coyotes and bobcat, moose are also known in the area.

Vacation Rental Policies

Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check
Check In: 12 p.m.
Check Out: 12 p.m.
Required Stay: 3 day min.
Deposits: Security depoit $600. for weekly rate, daily rate half of total day rate. Cleaning fee $100.00. Full security deposit is due 7 days after reservations are made to secure date. Balance of rent is due 3 weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit is returned within 30 days after checkout minus the cleaning fee. The maximum amount of people sleeping in the house is 6. Violation of the maximum amount of people (6) will forfeit the security deposit.

WOW! It is paradise in the Mountains! The views are truly breathtaking! We particularly love the view of Vega Lake and the mountains behind it from the huge deck. It was great soaking in the hot tub after a long day of boating and fishing. Playing games on the front lawn was a lot of fun too. The house itself is clean,roomy,cozy and very welcoming. We loved waking up in the morning and seeing the lake and mountain without even getting out of bed. We absolutely recommend this home for your COLORADO MOUNTAIN VACATION!!!
