LOG HOME ON HARRIS LAKE WITH 15 ACRES IN COLOMA (#28410)

Write a review Wonderful vacation! The home had everything you could need! Comfortable beds, kids loved the yard and the loft (not to mention on occasion the video games). Beautiful towns to visit ( St joseph, quiet clean beach). Would return! Clementines resturant is a must... Thank you Powells for a wonderful vacation!! Our 5 kids loved the place. fantastic home. BRuce the owner was excellent. Great beach. We used the bikes and fire pit. Our kids did not want to leave We had a wonderful weekend. The house is nice and cozy. Close to the Lake Michigan (1 mile) with association's beach. The closest house is around 1/4 mile so the property is very private. Bruce, the owner, is one of the nicest guys we ever met. Explained everything. Responded our calls. Thanks Bruce. We will come back. We (a group of 6 friends) enjoyed the cabin a lot! Bruce was a wealth of information and easy to get a hold of. The cabin itself had everything we needed. Of course, it's always tough when there are 6 women and 1 bathroom but we made it! Everything was very clean and there wasn't anything that wasn't at our finger tips. It was in a great location too...we spent our days in South Haven and Saugatuck (?). Thanks again Bruce! The log cabin in Coloma was a great family get away. It was very private and provided a lot of amentites that weren't expected like-- 2 baby gates, a booster seat, and plenty of towels!! The kids loved the lay out of the cabin with the loft above, and the game room below. The private home owner's association beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. There was a nice play area above the beach for children of all ages. The little market down the road was a gem (Vitale's Market). The Karma Vista Winery in Coloma had a good Reisling and the Contessa Winery had some great varietals as well. The only reason I gave the property 4 stars is that I could slightly hear the traffic noise from the interstate when I sat out on the balcony. Overall it was a great family vacation and our 4 kids had a great time. This was a great experience for our family. The home was great, The private beach access was awesome. This was our first trip to Michigan. Would highly recommend this log home. Owners very easy to work with, Thanks Jim! :) great looking place that comes with more than what you would expect. nice setting for any trip, rustic with all the comforts of home. the cabin was very close to lake michigan beaches and a few great places to taste wine. i would vacation here again. Myself and several of my friends rented this cabin for 5 days. We all had an amazing time in a great house. Bruce and Coleen have done an amazing job making sure that their guests have everything they could need, as well as ample sleeping room in a great cabin. I would recommend this for a couple looking to get away, some friends who want to spend some time together, or a family looking to enjoy the outdoors. The place was gorgeous in the middle of winter, I'm sure it's even more beautiful during the summer.
