The cabin is in the midst of the Pike National Forest 7.5 miles southwest of Colorado Springs accessed by the Old Stage Road, once the path used between Colorado Springs and the Cripple Creek mining area.

Cather Springs Cabin

We thought the cabin was great and it was in a beautiful setting. Hiking from the cabin was great too! There were 6 of us and one bathroom. I thought that would be a problem but there was plenty of counter space for all of us and was just fine. The hummingbirds were a treat and so fun to watch. We also had a deer that came by morning and evening to eat in the meadow and that was fun. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.
