Our Cooperstown guesthouse, with its large sheltered patio is a relaxing place on the side of Panther Mt. with great views to the west. Sunsets are fantastic!


You may see hawks, ravens, eagles and foxes. It's on a quiet road half a mile from Rte 28, only 8 minutes from Cooperstown and from the historic 'Cherry Valley" Turnpike. The interior has 4 bedrooms, plus library, dining, large bathroom, kitchen and laundry area. You can lay in the gazebo on one of the hammocks or barbecue and eat outside. The tiles and decor complete the space with a Mexican flair! There are even some canoes/kayaks you can use and a bunch of bikes in the games area below the patio

We needed a place to house myself, my parent, my sister and her husband plus their 2 kids. This house easily accommodated us for sleeping and leisure space. Only one bathroom, but another one was in the works, so I think that will soon change. With such a large crew, we were also wishing for a dish washer, but you can't have it all for such a reasonable price. I was doing lots of planning in Cooperstown and found the drive pleasant and short enough to be convenient. From driveway to parking spot I would plan 15 minutes. The house itself is rustic and semi-modern at the same time. The heat works great and theirs plenty of hot water. The house feels lived in, like your visiting a family friend. The view and yard were beautiful. Lots of space for everyone to do whatever they wanted. The kids (2 and 4) had a blast inside and out, which is always a big bonus for families. Easy to find and over-all a nice stay!
