We have stayed at the Bay Breeze Vacation Home for two years now and
are thrilled with the experience. The house is open and cheery with a huge picture window view out on the water.
Boats, jet skiers, kayakers, huge freighters and various wildlife (including egrets and herons) make the view always a marvel, not to mention the glorious sunsets! Watching the tide come in and out is, by itself, soothing and restful. The location could not be more ideal; five minutes from the little fishing village of Charleston and only 10 minutes from some of the most beautiful state parks and beaches in the state. All of the
amenities of Coos Bay are also within minutes. The house is equipped with all of the necessities, including laundry, microwave and dishwasher. We are so thrilled with the experience (including all of the Oregon sights to see within an hours drive) that we have already booked for August '09. We recommend,without reservation, this vacation home.

We have stayed here twice with our three children - once in 2005 and again in 2003. We've also referred friends to this location - they loved it too. We absolutely loved the area and the many activities/attractions available for relaxing vacation. The bay is right next to the backyard, with lots of birds, and gorgeous sunsets to watch from the deck. Nearby Charleston has crabbing (lots of fun to catch and eat) and clamming (we thought this was too much work and not enough result). Sunset Bay State Park has beautiful sunsets and tidepooling. Local beaches were great for kiteflying and relaxing. Several lighthouses within a short drive - Umpqua River Lighthouse is still operational and open for tours, others must be viwed from a distance. This is a great little house (older style, but charming, hence the 4 stars instead of 5) and good for a relaxing getaway. We loved being able to have a place to cook meals - not having to eat out all the time, and you can't beat the price!
You can NOT beat the price of this rental! Its a nice, clean home with tranquil views. We had a great time claming, crabing, and fishing just down the road. There are nice public gardens, and great walking paths at various public parks. All of this fun just minutes away. As well as a local Casino! We had a great time exploring what this great town has to offer and recommend this property to those who want to get away from it all, yet have plenty to do.

This home is very nice with a spectacular view of the ocean bay and sunset. All the anemities were there. I have two sons and we went to the dunes and my sons said they are better than Pimso Dunes. We enjoyed the beaches and shopping, stores are close by. We will surely be back.
