Tradewinds Cottage is an open and airy two-bedroom cottage located 200 feet above Johns Folly Bay on the southeastern corner of St. John, with spectacular panoramic ocean views of the British Virgin Islands from every window. Fall asleep to the sound of waves and tree frogs! We are a one minute drive from Salt Pond Beach, an uncrowded, hot, white sand beach.

Upstairs is the "great room" (living room, dining area, kitchen), bathroom and bedroom. You then go down the outside staircase to the lower level, where you'll find the bedroom (with sliders and a private balcony overlooking the ocean, and sitting area) and bathroom, featuring a window overlooking the ocean and handmade seashell tiles.

We have a fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, coolers, books, extensive CD music and book collection, teak lounge chairs on the deck for hot days and starry nights, Weber gas BBQ grill, blender for rum drinks, hairdryer, floor safe, hummingbird feeders, etc!

Tradewinds Cottage is VERY popular � we get booked up solid at least 9 months in advance, and we have lots of repeat renters! Our rental period is always starting Saturdays 3 PM and ending on Saturdays 10 AM.

Area Description

Far away from the crowds and noise of Cruz Bay, this quiet part of the island features secluded beaches and scenic tropical views around every corner. Concordia is the dry side of the island, completely surrounded by national park. The area boasts some great restaurants and bars, and is a short drive from local markets and shops in the village of Coral Bay. It�s a one minute drive from the cottage to the hot, sunny, uncrowded Salt Pond Beach; and 5 minutes to Lameshur Beach. The spectacular but busier North shore beaches are a 15-20 minute drive away.
