We just got back from a week at Calabash Views. The views are wonderful. The food at Island Blues was good at a great price. The tours are great. The Jacuzzi was very nice with a great view. Things we forgot. 1. DON'T DRIVE A COROLLA THERE! The road is a fun challenge but you want a small wheelbase and great clearance. We rented a Ford Escape at the airport Hertz on St. Thomas through Travelocity but they informed us when we got there that you couldn’t take their vehicles on St. John. We went to Avis and got what they had. The Corolla came back ok but it was a challenge. 2. BRING SNORKEL GEAR. We rented snorkel gear and it was cheap but having your own is better. 3. HIKING SHOES. You will need to hike to get to more secluded beaches. 4. BINOCULORS. Just something I wish we brought. I do wish that we had a T.V., a softer bed, a few less steps to climb LOL, and a pool but the price on this place with the privacy and view was well worth it. Dorie “the owner” was always there to take care of anything that was needed. We will try to come back again. Tips 1. The closest store was actually the cheapest place for groceries. There was allot of adult drinks there already that are left from previous visitors so I would get there first to see what you need. 2. I would go to the beaches on the east side of the island. You will see a few vehicles parked on the side of the road on the far east side of route 10. Head NORTH threw a trail to get to a more secl
