Two very separate bedrooms, king and full, each with adjoining full baths. Besides the fully-equipped, modern kitchen and mahogany great room, there is a tiled outdoor shower, expansive decks and balconies, anThere is a gas outdoor grill, CD and cassette stereos, cable TV, DVD and VCR, beach towels and chairs, as well as native drums, a hammock and a telescope.
Ceilings, furniture, and cabinetry are custom made of cyprus and mahoganies with a feeling of casual elegance. Artistic refinement... lovingly created over eight years by the designers, the structure itself is art, as well as a vehicle for art... relics in the walls... fine mosaics... a sculptured Japanese Zen garden. This unusual decor is accented by local paintings, masks, crafts, and statuary. observatory sundeck with giant chess on the fifth level, and a whirlpool spa nestled in a tropical garden.

This is St john Island, the gem of the US Virgin Islands. Two-thirds National Park, the hiking, snorkling, sailing, scuba and just breathing are among the best in the world.

Our last day at the Castle I wrote a note in the guest book. I started to date the entry. For a few moments, I could not remember what day it was, what month it was, or even what year it was! Then, when I tried to put our address, it took a while to recall our zip code. This was final proof of what I had sensed from our first step into the entryway. The Castle puts the boring old space-time continuum on hold. Everything there enfolded us in the love of Beauty and the beauty of Love.
