Home was nice, good location for both sound and beach access. Club house pool, exercise and weight rooms were great addition to the home features.

Our first trip to OBX and it was amazing. The house was very clean and well kept. In a lovely neighborhood and all of the staff at Monteray Shores was very polite and helpful Had a minor issue upon arrival, but the owner did his best to see that it was resolved ASAP. Only complaint was the traffic in and out, but there's nothing we can do about that and it was well worth it. We have always done Myrtle Beach in the summer, but enjoyed the relaxation and peace in Corolla, I am now a convert. Wonderful memories for myself and my family.

Nice place not too far from the beach but best if driven by car. House was immaculate. Hot tub, etc. Place was nice.

Shore Leave was a great experience for our family. The owner was wonderful to work with. the house was beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. the location of Corolla may take longer to get to, but it is much less commercial and more relaxed than places south. The Monterey Shores clubhouse is very nice and their staff was friendly and accomodating. Beach access was close and the beach was very clean and quiet. We look forward to returning.

Our Vacation

We had a great time staying at your house. It was very clean and comfortable. The house was very roomy for our family. We have 6 kids under the age of 14 and we allowed our oldest to bring a friend this year. Also, my sister and her husband joined us. The living area was large enough for all of us to hang out together. The adults enjoyed the quiet evenings in the hot tub after the kids were settled in with a movie. The clubhouse was a great added feature. It was nice to take the older kids to the pool while the little ones napped in the afternoon. And the little ones participated in the activities they offered in the mornings while the older ones were still sleeping! It was nice to be close to the grocery store and other shops and activites without feeling like we were in an overcrowded tourist town. Overall we had a blast and a vacation that we will never forget! Thank you so much!

Hi Rick-

The next time we go to the northern beaches, we will stay at your house again if it's available. We truly loved it. Usually Karen and I go to Hatteras or Ocracoke, however, since they have very convenient airports, (too bad Pine Island is private) and our kids are pretty much grown.
Several of our old friends go to Corolla at the same week every year or two, and we like to see them.
