The distance between the ocean water and sound water is approximately a quarter of a mile wide at Monteray Shores. This gorgeous and unique location allows quick access to ocean surfing and swimming as easily as Sound side kite surfing, jet-skiing, kayaking, and other still water sports. You have access on both sides! Enjoy the sun and shade decks for relaxation. Biking and walking distance to the Monetray Shores amenities. Ground Level: carport; entry; laundry. Nice place not too far from the beach but best if driven by car. House was immaculate. Hot tub, etc. Place was nice.

Shore Leave was a great experience for our family. The owner was wonderful to work with. the house was beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. the location of Corolla may take longer to get to, but it is much less commercial and more relaxed than places south. The Monterey Shores clubhouse is very nice and their staff was friendly and accomodating. Beach access was close and the beach was very clean and quiet. We look forward to returning.

Rick, Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. The location is great for seeing all of the Outer Banks. The Club House was a nice added benefit since my daughter and I were able to play tennis. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We had a very relaxing and fun filled week. Cathy

Hi Rick, I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time down at your rental home in Corolla NC. I have to say I wasn't sure about doing everything on the internet, but everything went great. You can tell when you walked into your place it smelled and looked clean. We had a great time there. It was big enough for two separate family there. We really enjoy ourselves. Thank you so much.

We had a great time staying at your house. It was very clean and comfortable. The house was very roomy for our family. We have 6 kids under the age of 14 and we allowed our oldest to bring a friend this year. Also, my sister and her husband joined us. The living area was large enough for all of us to hang out together. The adults enjoyed the quiet evenings in the hot tub after the kids were settled in with a movie. The clubhouse was a great added feature. It was nice to take the older kids to the pool while the little ones napped in the afternoon. And the little ones participated in the activities they offered in the mornings while the older ones were still sleeping! It was nice to be close to the grocery store and other shops and activites without feeling like we were in an overcrowded tourist town. Overall we had a blast and a vacation that we will never forget! Thank you so much!
