Thanksgiving week available! Reserve now for a family Thanksgiving tradition on the Outer Banks! Pre-reserve your choice of weeks for 2010. Hot tub under the stars! Easy walk to beach! Free WIFI access! 42" HDTV with Blu-Ray player just added to great room. Sheets provided with beds made! New King TEMPUR-PEDIC!(PLEASE NOTE: While our maximum number of guests is 10, our house is best for 8 adults or 6 adults and 4 children. Also, we rent only for a full week, no short stays.)

The Lark Inn is the ideal place to relax! Beautifully decorated, airy, non-smoking beach house! A "not so big" cottage with plenty of space for fun with family and friends, but cozy enough for just the two of you! TOP LEVEL features a spacious great room with vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, and fireplace. Sink into the comfy sofas or gather round the game table. Large selection of DVDs (including Blu-Rays), "beach reads," puzzles, and games. Linger over a morning cup of coffee in the sunny, bright kitchen! Well-equipped with counter space for several cooks! Large table for those crab feasts - picnic table on the screened porch too. Queen master bedroom and bath with skylight. Upper deck has Adirondack rockers and lounge chairs for soaking up the sun. Hot tub under the stars on cool evenings!
MIDDLE LEVEL has master bedroom with king TEMPUR-PEDIC bed, private bath, and exit to shady wrap-around porch with hammock. Full hall bath between third bedroom with two twin beds and fourth bedroom with pyramid bed (twin over full with twin trundle)and exit to deck with porch swing. Unpack and make yourself at home!
LOWER LEVEL with washer and dryer leads to covered parking. Outside you'll find a park grill and basketball goal. Enclosed outside shower is a special treat!
OCEANSIDE - Short walk to beach (280 yds.) in private community of Ocean Sands. No major roads to cross. We provide umbrella, lots of beach chairs, and jumbo cart to carry it all. In season, you'll find a life guard stand right at the foot of the public boardwalk over the dunes. Convenient grocery stores, shops, and restaurants just a mile up the road.
Off-season is the perfect time to enjoy the beauty of the Outer Banks! The BEST time for long walks, shell-seeking, and pelican-watching on quiet beaches. (You'll often have it all to yourself!) Pull up a chair in the sunny shelter of the dunes and finish that book. Or take your favorite dog for a romp and meet new friends.
Enjoy golf at the Currituck Club. Fly a kite! Bike on quiet roads! Kayak and canoe on the tranquil Sound. Feed the turtles at the pond. Visit the Currituck Heritage Park and tour the Whalehead Club or learn about decoy carving at the Center for Wildlife Education. Climb to the top of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse for a spectacular view. Pretend you're a "local". The shopkeepers at Timbuck II are delighted to see you. No lines at your favorite restaurants!
Also just a short drive to the birthplace of flight, the Wright Brothers National Monument, in Kitty Hawk; the outdoor drama, the Lost Colony, on Roanoke Island (June - mid-August); or hang-gliding on the huge dunes at Jockeys Ridge.

* Covered parking - drive under house space for 2 cars is nice and shady. Parking pad has space for 3 more cars.
