Area Description
Located in Corolla, which is very well-known for its wide, sandy, CLEAN beaches, you will be a short drive to the Currituck Club Golf Course, the Currituck Lighthouse, a movie theater, ample shopping at unique boutique and beach specialty shops. Corolla also offers vacationers the Historic Whalehead Club which is open daily for tours AND a Wildlife Nature center with interactive kids activities and many and varying restaurants from Bar-b-cue to fine dining. Located at the northern most end of the Outer Banks, Corolla is private and secluded and offers guests uncrowded, pristine beaches and is truly a Family Vacation Destination.
There are many things to do in the quaint and family friendly town of Corolla. Climb the historic Currituck Lighthouse and from the top, you can see for miles. Enjoy the many restaurants and wonderful shops offered in the area, or tour the historic Whalehead Club and Corolla Village. Corolla also offers a golf course, movie theater and with your 4x4 vehicle, take a drive up to Carova where the wild Spanish Mustangs still reside.
