Description of the Corolla vacation home rental

Sand Trap
Outer Banks Rental Home in Corolla, NC.
This Outer Banks beach house is in a great location, close to
the beach, with spectacular views from both the ship's watch
loft and the spacious great room with cathedral ceilings & bay
window. It has a fully furnished kitchen and dining area with
ceramic tile floors. Enjoy the outdoors from the furnished
screened porch and 2 levels of decks with porch swings. The
house has 3 MBRs, each with a queen bed and a full bath, one
w/jacuzzi. The 4th bedroom is on the mid level with a pyramid
bunk plus a twin bed with trundle & an adjacent full bath. This
beautiful 5 level house is situated on a large, private
half-acre lot only 50 yards from the beach walkway, and 1/2
mile from the Currituck Club golf course & a Harris Teeter
grocery store. The house is located in Corolla, North Carolina
in desirable Ocean Sands South, Section C. This rental home
rents full weeks, from Saturday to Saturday, from May through
September.

Area Information

Visit the Corolla Light House and enjoy the spectacular views of the barrier island. Just a few miles to the North, is the Corolla Light House and the Historic Hunting Lodge of the Whalehead Club where you can listen to concerts on the lawn or crab off the canal. A new nature museum is opening this Spring. Ride your SUV on the undeveloped beaches to the north or book a 4-wheel excursion to see the wild horses and Kayak on the sound. Wind surfing, parasailing and jet ski rentals are available as well as pubs and music. Right before the light house is a movie theater, shopping, putt putt, go carts and restaurants. A hour or two South is the North Carolina Aquarium, the Elizabethan Gardens, the Lost Colony of Roanoke, Jockey's Ridge dune, Oregon inlet and the Wright Brother's Memorial. At Jockey's ridge you can fly a kite or even hang glide. At Oregon inlet you can charter a boat to catch Striped Bass, marlin and tuna. There is something for everyone!

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful time in Corolla, N.C. A great spot for a family vacation. The Sand Trap was close to the beach with a great view of the ocean. This house had plenty of space and was very comfortable. We would go back in a heartbeat.

A Blast at Sand Trap

The house is meticulously kept up. Beautiful carpet, and wood mouldings. Loved the layout of the rooms and everything in the kitchen was in fine order. The location was perfect - near everything in Corolla. The keypad entry should be a must on all beach homes - with five adults - everyone had a 'key' - that couldn't be lost!

Mr. Roberts was a great tenant who alerted us to a leak in the AC system. He and his group were very helpful and cooperative in letting the service people come in and make the repairs.

Very nice house and very close to beach.Perfect view of the ocean from top deck,you can watch the sunrise and set from all decks,you can hear the waves all day & night.Very clean home and VERY nice owners to work with !

the owners were so great to work with, the house was exactly as described, close to the water and fully stocked. Plus you cant beat the location to harris teeter. The family had such a great time, its hard to describe. I would recommend this house to any of my friends. The only upgrade would be in the games and movie selection, but thats just me trying to find something. Other then that, great house.

This was one of our favorite rentals on the Outer Banks! The house is clean, very well stocked, and very comfortable. Nothing fancy, but just a great house to hang out in and it is so convenient to the beach.
