Description of the Corolla vacation home rental

This outer banks rental home is perfect for your family or multifamily vacation. Large kitchen, Florida room, decks and ocean views offer something for everyone. For the sports person, a basketball goal is provided, golf (Currituck Club) is less than 5 minutes away and tennis is only one block down the street. The house is located in Corolla, North Carolina in the subdivision of Ocean Sands Section D. We'd love to have you visit.

Visit the Corolla Light House and enjoy the spectacular views of the barrier island. Just a few miles to the North, is the Corolla Light House and the Historic Hunting Lodge of the Walehead Club where you can listen to concerts on the lawn or crab off the canal. A new nature museum is opening this Spring. Ride your SUV on the undeveloped beaches to the north or book a 4-wheel excursion to see the wild horses and Kayak on the sound. Wind surfing, parasailing and jet ski rentals are available as well as pubs and music. Right before the light house is a movie theater, shopping, putt putt, go carts and restaurants. A hour or two South is the North Carolinia Aquarium, the Elizabethen Gardens, the Lost Colony of Roanoke, Jockey's Ridge dune, Oregon inlet and the Wright Brother's Memorial. At Jockey's ridge you can fly a kite or even hang glide. At Oregon inlet you cann charter a boat to catch Striped Bass, marlin and tuna. There is something for everyone!

The beach is an easy 130 yard walk. A boardwalk and stairs provided over the dunes. A life guard is on duty from June through September.

We had a fabulous time in Corolla. The house was wonderful and very spacious. It was a short walk to the beach and very convenient to shopping. I will come back and stay at the Kelly's beach house again.

My husband and I had a nice five days at Kelly's Beach Retreat with our Australian shepherd. It was great to walk to the beach a few times a day and enjoy the sun on Kelly's large deck where you can hear the waves. Plenty of nice lounge chairs added to the enjoyment. The kitchen had everything we needed, (pots, dishes, utensils, etc.) plus lots of dining space. Plenty of TV's and the wireless Internet worked great. The proximity to nice grocery stores and shops is excellent, no time wasted driving around. The owner, Glenn, was a pleasure to deal with,efficient with no realtors involved!

This was our third year at the house and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accomodations are great and we feel like we are at home. The walk to the beach is short and the beach is not crowded. The deck is our favorite spot to sit and enjoy the evening after a day in the sun or visiting the nearby lighthouses.

Kelly's Beach Retreat offers a very reasonably priced 5 bedroom home with nice features, private views and a short walk to the ocean. Our family also enjoyed the spacious eating area and large deck in the rear of the house. A great place to stay with close proximity to lots of attractions.

Kelly's Beach Retreat is just that a ==delight. The house is well equipped as like we were home. Pretty much everthing you need the Kelly's have for you. The administration stuff is nicely done via the US Mail and email. With Mr Kelly being very responsive to inquires and needs. We have been there 3 times with additional enhancements each time. The Kelly's take pride in their home which is a "win" for the vacationers!Plus the weather was great w/o 8/16 even with BILL off the coast!

This house meets all are needs. Is well equipped,clean and just the right size for several families. We enjoy the many decks and the big "sand box" under and beside the house. Just got back from Corolla and our stay at Kelly's Beach Retreat. This was our first time to the Outer Banks and it could not have been better. Property is great - clean and well-appointed. Very short walk to the beach, very quiet neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants. We are planning to go again next year!
