Corpus Christi Hooks baseball team plays at Whataburger Field & Corpus Christi Ice Rays hockey team plays at American Bank Center; both stadiums within 10-minutes from condo. Relax with Time Warner cable TV & DVD/VHS player. This and more is what awaits your visit to our condominium property at Corpus Christi Beach. Our condo comfortably sleeps 10 people. 2-queen beds, 1-queen sofa
sleeper, 4-built in bunk beds. Wet bar with dishwasher.
Amenities such as two swimming pools & kiddie pools, hot tubs, BBQ grills and tables about the property, covered parking spaces, laundry on floor down hallway, vending machines.
Walking distance along the beach is the USS Lexington naval aircraft carrier & museum and Texas State Aquarium. Within
a 5-minute drive are many shops and restaurants, 10 minutes
to major grocery & department stores. All of lifes comforts. Wade fishing along the surf, charter boat bay fishing, or Gulf coast deep sea fishing.
We Do Not Accept Pets & charge a $250.00 fee for a violation.
There is No Smoking in the Condo.

Very nice place with plenty of room. Great view of the beach and everything was easily accessible. The owner is a great guy and I highly recommend staying here. We had 6 but the place sleeps 8 if you use the sofa bed. He had all the utensils, plates, pans, coffee machine, brooms etc for our stay. The ONLY thing was we had to go get some hand towels. No biggie at all. Washing machines close by and ice was readily available. The place is very close to good restaurants in Corpus (walking distance). It's close to the USS Lexington, golf courses, the Aquarium etc.

You Won't Find Better!

This was our first foray into renting a condo for our parents. Can't say enough about Greg the owner, he's terrific. Good communications, everything laid out for the novice to the experienced rentor. The Villa Del Sol complex is securely gated and the front office people are terrific. The view from this unit is wonderful. Watch ships daily in and out or just watch the shoreline while the palm trees sway in the breeze. The beach was raked daily by the City and was a terrific walk either by sand or the concrete walk. Or you could just sit out and enjoy the sunshine and the shore. Can't say enough about the accommodations inside the condo -- plenty of eating dishes, cooking utensils, counter space, fridge space, two televisions, two separate balconies, table space and sitting space. Bedrooms had a good deal of space for your things, a lot of thought went into providing enough closet and drawer space. Two bathrooms were spacious, again with plenty of space for your stuff. If you're coming to Corpus Christi, stay in this unit on the North Beach for a fantastic experience.

Best Condo in Corpus Christi

Because of the extreme hot summer we waited to treat our grandchildren a trip to the coast when the temperature was cooler. We was lucky to find this nice condo that accommodated my wife and I and our 5 grandchildren. The places we wanted to visit were very close by and a short walk to the beach. There is plenty of room in this condo and the children really enjoyed themselves. Everything is provided, accept the food and drinks. The whole condo area is secure with only one security gate to enter. I would recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you have more the 5 people. We plan on coming back here again.

The condo appeared to be 2 smaller units with the walls taken down, so convenient for a larger group. We were a little worried the first day, as one pool was closed down for repairs, and the elevator in our building decided to break down as we were unloading our van! A staff member helped us get the heavier items up the stairs, and it was working (along with the pool), the next day. Convenient to Corpus attractions, but not my favorite beach.

Family get away weekend

The condo was wonderful. It had plenty of dishes, towels, and lots of room. We had a total of 9 people staying. It had everything we needed for the weekend. It was close to the beach, has a great view from the balcony. It was within walking distance to the Lexington Museum and the Texas State Aquarium.You can park your car and walk to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Didn't have to start my car for the whole weekend if I didn't want to. I would recommend this unit to all my friends and family.

I enjoyed the stay at the condo and would stay there again. It would be nice if there were a place to smoke on the property as my sister smokes and it was inconvenient to find a place where she felt comfortable. We were a party of four and found the condo spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise over the bay.

Adequate but could be better

Owner was nice & flexible w/ our schedule; we had an unexpected delay in arriving. Condo proximity to beach was fabulous;pools were closed due to storms. Jacuzzi area was nice & clean. Condo itself was okay-it is actually two condos with a connecting doorway. Not clean upon arrival-hair in showers & stubble on sinks; sandy floors. Bedrooms tiny & beds were old, squeaky & very uncomfortable. We pulled the mattress pads off the bunk beds & used them on the bedroom beds. Linens & bed pillows were old & had a strong, mildew smell. No bath towels nor toilet paper were provided, but we were not forewarned of this ahead of time, so we ended up buying bath towels & paper goods during a second trip to Walmart after we bought groceries. Silverware & cooking utensils are provided, as are plates & glasses/ cups. You'll want to bring your own cookware if you plan to cook; pots provided are nasty. Take a good inventory of what is there when you arrive, then go shopping. Buy/bring your own bath/ beach towels, washcloths, hand soap, dish detergent, laundry soap (if you plan to do laundry), plus bottled water & a bag of ice. Cell phone & computer reception are NOT good inside the building or on patios. Two TVs have cable plus a VCR/DVD combo. Decor is dated but not unbearable. Newer beds/ pillows & fresh linens would've made a huge difference in our enjoyment. Great for a family with small kids-you really can't hurt anything here. If we stay here again, we'll know what to bring next time!

This review was unusual. The condo is cleaned before any new arrival. If it wasn't, it was an obvious scheduling error. Clean bath towels, linens, toilet paper, hand soap are always supplied. The pots & pans are brillo pad cleaned as needed; if a guest burns a pan to black, even though cleaned, staff may overlook it occassionally, but when I check-in for routine maintenance, the brillo pad is used to remove the burned black. The beds have been replaced with new ones, and a new sofa sleeper too, as well as upgrades to other furnishings. It is not perfect, but clean, comfortable & relaxing. Many Thanks, Greg; condo owner

Close to shopping, grocery stores, tourist attractions, not to mention a SHORT walk across the parking lot to the beach! Very quiet complex. Thank you for a great first experience to Corpus Christi. My family and I stayed at this condo for four days and it was very pleasurable. The couch and beds were very cozy and the full kitchen came in handy! The view was great and we were so close to the aquarium we could walk there! We will definitely consider this our number one choice for our next visit.

Easy access to beach area and pools. Nice location for the Aquarium and Lexington. The condo had a lot of sleeping space. Nice kitchen space and thank goodness, 2 bathrooms! The condo exterior is currently being upgraded, it will look very nice when completed. The general area of the condo(surrounding properties) looks like they have seen better times, some empty buildings or lots where buildings once stood. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely come back.

Great Location, Okay Accommodation

The location is on North Beach, a great public beach, and convenient to all of the Corpus christi area. The property has seen better days. The association seems to be struggling to maintain the properties in the face of the elements. The unit is spacious, but could use some attention to detail -- batteries in the clocks, batteries in the remotes, dinnerware that isn't chipped or cracked, towels that sren't so threadbare.
