Description of the Corpus Christi vacation condo rental

The Leeward isles condo's are located on the island. North Padre
Island is the longest barrier island in the world. When in North
Padre island, time slows down and the dress code changes to the
island feel. If you need any amenities of the big city just drive 10
minutes over to Coprus Christi mainland via the Jfk causway bridge
and you have access to everything a big city has to offer such as
medical facilites, retail chains, shopping etc. etc. The unit is the
best located unit within the whole
complex with veiws of the pool and Lake Madre from the porch and
living room area.The unit is a 1 minute walk to the Gulf beach/ JP
Lubby Surf park. It is newly remodeled with up to date furniture and
electronics. There are lots of great resturants, shops and bars
within the island. Come enjoy the island, North Padre Island, Corpus
Christi.

Required Stay: 2 night minimum with 40$ cleaning fee for stays under three nights. Stays three nights and over DO NOT have to pay the cleaning fee.

Deposits: 15% deposit to reserve the unit and balance due one week before arrival. Lease agreement is e-mailed to renter.

There were good and bad things about the place. The bad things were that the bed was very hard so we had to put an air mattress on top of it. The air mattress that they keep there had a hole in it. When we went swimming in the pool I noticed something kinda shocking me when I would get by the pool light. I don't know why it was shocking me when I got close. I guess maybe there was loose wires or something. I thought that was dangerous and I was afraid of getting electricuted. The thing that I liked the least was that there was no door to the bedroom, and I thought there was, so I was mad. On the plus side I realy liked the area it was in. It was close to the city and right by the ocean. Awesome location. The air conditioner worked realy well. I also liked the lighting inside. The best thing I think was the location. It was okay.

the apartment was fine but it has one of the hardest beds I have ever slept on, there was no box spring under the mattress. We were able to compensate by using the air mattress on top of the bed.

A vacation with Dolly, July 28, 2008

We spent 4 days in North Padre and enjoyed every minute, including the storms with Dolly; the unit we had was sheltered from most of the bad wind and rain, and we only had to stay inside one complete day. The unit was extremely well maintained and very clean. We were actually 6 of us in the unit, 2 on blow up mattresses, but the unit was very comfortable even with that many people. It was very nice to have the choice of eating in or dining out and the unit was not far away from some very good restaurants. We would definitely recommend this rental agency and this unit to anyone headed to North Padre; there are quite a few newer complexes, but this one is well maintained.
