Family Coastal Vacation/Outdoorsman's Dream - Enjoy the tranquility of the Laguna Madre. Welcome to our “Coastal Bend Paradise”. We have made our vacation home available for you to enjoy the wonders of the Coastal Bend. A Tranquil, beautiful, bright home on the water (on Canal not Gulf). Watch the sun rise and set on a large wooden deck overlooking a finger-tip canal, with access from the master bedroom and living room. Enjoy fishing, birding and boating right outside the “backdoor”. Keep your boat in the water at the dock on the lower deck for easy access to the Laguna Madre, and Intracoastal Water Way, or sit and enjoy the view from the deck. You can canal fish from the lower deck or launch your Kayak to go fishing for drum, trout and red fish and then grill your catch on the deck.

As this is our home too, the kitchen is fully equipped. Our dining room table easily seats 6 with room for 4 more at the counter. Relax in the living room and watch the HDTV, read a book, or browse the internet on your computer. There is a King-size bed, full bath and CATV in the master bedroom. Another King-size bed is in the front second bedroom, with a Queen-size bed in the third bedroom. Utility room has a Washer and Dryer. Bed linens and bath towels are included, as well as beach chairs, umbrella and towels.

We use a highly recommended Management Company with friendly, 24-hour support for our guests. Whether you are a seasoned Coastal Bend visitor, or contemplating visiting “the tranquility” for the first time, the Coastal Bend can satisfy all of your vacation needs.

Unfortunately because of severe family allergies guests CAN NOT bring their pets and if you do SMOKE we would appreciate NOT Smoking in the house - Thank You for this. Also this property is ONLY available on a monthly basis. Unfortunately, Corpus Christi only allows availability of single family homes for a month at a time - condos and town homes are available daily and weekly. We checked with the City again and they won’t budge on this. Our monthly rate is $3,000.00 with a required additional $1,500 security deposit.

One of the greatest benefits of North Padre Island is location, location, location! The Island is situated just a short 20 minute drive from downtown Corpus Christi (the 8th largest Texas city) yet provides immediate boat access to the Gulf of Mexico through the Packery Channel. Modern convenience meets world class fishing, family fun and many outdoor activities to view and do. Pretty much all amenities are within a few minutes drive from our home. White sand beaches that separate North Padre Island from Port Arkansas offer many areas for family's and tourists to swim or walk along and search for shells. Our home is located 1.5 miles from White Cap beach. Located between Padre Balli Park and the beginning of the seawall on the North Padre Island, White Cap beach runs about 1.5 miles long. This beach has no facilities or paved area. There is a public beach with facilities and paved parking located .5 mi North of White Cap. Fish at the Packery Channel Jetties or the Bob Hall Pier in 8 minutes. Surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, birding, fishing, and water skiing are regular outdoor opportunities in the Laguna and along the National Seashore just minutes away. For those who love horseback riding on the beach – it’s available!!! Experience Island living with a variety of restaurants appealing to every palette, specialty stores, cafes and fun stuff (miniature golf, golfing) within 3 miles.
