a quiet and relaxing holiday in the heart of Tuscany. The property has only been completely refurbished in 2006, the owner ( of Florence native) paid great attention to detail and takes great pride in her property. To her clients that rent this property are her guests!! This property does not have AC, however bear in mind that these old farmhouses have thick stone walls that keep the heat outside and you will be surprised how comfortably cool they stay even in the August heat.

The property consists of an old stone master’s house that served as far
back as in the 1700s as a stage post called the “Locanda” (as is
witnessed by an old coat of arms on the façade) that provided
shelter to wayfarers and two further independent apartments converted
from an old adjoining stone farmhouse.Recent
restoration work was carried out on the house with great care for
detail and all rooms have been finely furnished with antique pieces.
The master’s house is arranged over two floors: the ground floor
comprises a large living-dining room with open fireplace, entrance, a
toilet room, and a live-in kitchen.The
upper floor consists of three double-bedrooms, one twin bedroom,
three bathrooms, a living room with open fireplace.The
house has a large private garden. The house is equipped with
independent heating and satellite TV.The
two apartments consist each of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a
living-dining room, kitchen. Both are equipped with independent

Etruscan town with a rich historic and cultural heritage still
encircled by massive Etruscan walls and dotted with beautiful

From the villa, you can reach some breath-taking villages in Tuscany and Umbria. We advise you to have a car as the public transport system in the area is not the best.

For excursions to the large cities like Rome, Florence, Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, or Arezzo we recommend to get there by train that depart from Camucia or Terontola and in a short time, you are right in the center of the city.

For the small villages like Montepulciano, Pienza, Corciano, Castiglione del Lago, Montalcino, Siena, Trevi, Spello, Gubbio, Val d’Orcia, and il Casentino, it is necessary to have a car. Everyone of these villages can be reached in under one and half hours of driving.
