Description of the Cosby vacation cabin rental

Bordering G.S.M.N.P., with a large mountain CREEK. Pet friendly (GARENTEED CLEAN!). Just 20 min. to Gatlinburg. Cabins on 10 private mature, wooded acres. Wildflowers, rodadendren, Mt. laurel, fauna, mushrooms, moss coverd rocks, birds, wildlife, organic lawn, flower & veggie gardens,fire-pits,hammocks,bbq grills, rockers, swings. Fully furnished, cable TV / Wi Fi, full kitchen ,tub/shower, W/D, queen beds, Glass doors open to pourch overlooking CREEK into the PARK! 17 miles east of gatlinburg 1/2 mile off the main hwy 321. Away from the crowds but close to everything. Shoping(wal-mart 20 min.)outlets,hikeing trails(park entrance 3 miles),scenic drives(foothills prky. 2 miles),cades cove,fishing(no lic. on property), stocking point about 1 mile on Cosby creek,rafting(12 co.`s 20 min.),Dollywood,aquiarum,waterparks, & of course just relaxing to the sound of the creek! Just bring yourself, [(pets, own blanket for bed)- ($25 cleaning fee)],clothes & food. Come once & return for a lifetime! (children, grandchildren) doing this for 22 yrs & am a young 77 yr old who will see 3 generations enjoy what has been under my stewardship. This is the perfect location to enjoy the smokies(both east Tn. as well as western N.C.). Only 20 min. to N.C. border! Ashville(Biltmore)1hr, Max Patch, Grandfather Mt., Hendersonville, Boon, Brevard, Black Mt., Little Swiszerland, Land of the Waterfalls. Cannot be beat for location & price. Area Information

Cosby is a rural area, unincorperated that borders the park( park entrance,campground / trailhead 3 miles) 12 whitewater rafting co.s 10 miles - Dollywood 45 min. Golf course 5 miles - fishing on site (NO LIC. REQUIRED!). Less than 3 miles from the foothills parkway exit 443 off I - 40. Wal Mart 20 min. (in Newport), Carvers Applehouse Resturant 5 miles, D J`s market (homemade biscuts/breakfest-pizza),conveaniance/gas store,1mile. Western N.C. (17 miles to the N.C. border) Cannot get any better location than this, away from the crowds, but still close in to enjoy all the smoky mt.`s has to offer not only east Tn. but western N.C. as well. All at a price to fit any budget!

Iva is wonderful! Our cabin was adorable! We went hiking for miles in the smokies and came back to our pets and a well equipped kitchen at dinner. The location is perfect, just outside of busy & touristy Gatlinburg. She has a great set up for campfires and grilling and a great little stream flowing through her property. Very affordable. Told everyone we know about it!

We loved our stay in this beautiful cabin. It was easy extremely clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable had all the comforts of home. Lots of little extras, like information about the area, bug catcher and even a sewing kit! The view from the deck was breathtaking, beautiful stream and moss covered rock walls. You will not be disappointed!

We have been staying at the Garden of Eden since our honeymoon in October of 2009. We fell in love with the place and continue to return every year for our anniversary. We have stayed in 3 of the 4 cabins and have always found our cabin to be VERY clean and Miss Iva and her staff VERY hospitable. We would like to keep the Garden of Eden our little secret, but it is too good of a place not to share. We highly recommend the Garden of Eden to anyone looking for a clean, quiet place to vacation or just get away. Thank you Miss Iva and staff for another wonderful vacation and we already look forward to seeing you again next year!

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! Such an amazing property. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch as well as walking the property viewing of the stream, mature tall trees, gardens, and wild life. We would definitly stay at the cabin again.
