Whidbey Island is a 1- 1 1/2 hour drive north of Seattle. The island is surrounded by the saltwaters of Puget Sound and is about 45 miles in length and offers numerous sites and activities. Whidbey Island is blessed with both a beautiful setting and a pleasant climate. Located in the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, it gets a lot less precipitation than Seattle. The island has numerous beaches, public parks, hiking trails, and bike
routes. Whale watching, kayaking and sailing are some of the water activities. There are lakes and public pools for swimming during the summer. For exploring, the island has wineries, farmer €™s markets, art galleries, and antique
stores. The nearby communities of Langley, Freeland, Greenbank, and Coupeville offer many diversions and shopping opportunities.

The house also has a barn that has been converted into a conference meeting center with chairs and tables for up to 60 people and wireless high speed internet. It is ideal for meetings, workshops, and reteats.
