Description of the Cowpet Bay vacation condo rental

Lovely 2B/2B waterfront condo located on beautiful Cowpet Bay. Well maintained unit has everything the vactioner would need. The unit has cream tile throughout, all good furniture, original art work and unique decorative touches. The fully equipped kitchen has white cabinets and solid surface counter-tops. The bathrooms were re-done and updated 3 years ago. The unit has new AC and ceiling fans throughout. There are 2TVS/DVD players, a CD player and an ipod player. WiFi was just installed. The masterbedroom has sliding doors that go onto the porch which overlooks the water. It has a king bed, ample dresser, bedside chest, closet and book shelf. The back bedroom has 2 twin beds, that can be converted into a king, a dresser, 2 bedside tables, and a closet. The room empties onto a porch. A seperate laundry room holds a full size washer and dryer. There is a grill and lots of beach toys including snorkeling equpiment, a cooler, chairs, rafts and umbrella. Perhaps the best feature of the unit is its view. the porch overlooks the bay and beach. We are across from the Yacht Club. If you are like most, hours will be spent sitting on the porch watching the boats and people on the beach and beautiful sunsets.

Area Description

You can't find a better spot for your vacation than Cowpet Bay. It will take you about two minutes to walk to the protected beach from our condo. The property is beautifully maintained with flowering tropical plants. The beach is full of swaying palm trees and lounge chairs.There is a small coral reef with hundreds of colorful fish right off the beach. The Elysian resort is adjacent to the property. They have two excellent restaurants, a spa, gym, concession stand and beach bar. They also have a wonderfully maintained pool and jacuzzi which our guests have use of. The property is around the corner from the Ritz Carlton. We are a 5 minute car ride to Red Hook where you can find restaurants, shops, grocery stores, a marina, dive shop and pharmacy. You can catch the Ferry to St. John or the BVI in Red Hook. It is away from the congestion of Charlotte Amalie but has everything you are looking for.

We found his condo to be very clean, comfortable,nicely decorated, and it had a good view. It felt like home for my wife and I and our 23 year old son and 26 year old daughter. The condo is very convenient to Red Hook dining, shopping, marina, etc; and, the amenities at the beach are good, including two nice restaurants. The grounds are meticulously kept. We would definitely stay again.

My wife and I along with our 23 year old son and 26 year old daughter stayed in this lovely condo for a week. It is very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated, and felt just like home for our stay. It has a good 180 degree view of the yacht harbor, beach, and of the Carribean. The grounds are meticulous, and it has convenient access to the nice amenities at the next door Elysian Resort, all part of the deal. It is only a short ride into the town of Red Hook for dining, Marina / charters, shopping, etc. We were very pleased and would definitely stay here again. Pat O'Brien, St Louis, MO

We recently stayed with our two young children in this villa. Everything was perfect! The villa was clean, bright and airy. Spectacular view of Cowpet Bay, the beach was awesome, very quiet and peaceful. Ritz Carlton is just a walk away for dinner/drinks. Will definitely stay again!!
