Christmas in St. Thomas

The condo was very pretty, well equipped and clean. The owner responded immediately (from NJ) when we had a couple of minor problems. Location was good not far from Red Hook where there were a lot of restaurants, boat trips, ferries to other islands, etc. We were glad we rented a car to get back and forth to different activities and beaches.

We rented a villa with two other couples. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The units were very clean. The maid service was very nice. There was a washer and dryer that was located in the center unit. The only thing that would prevent me from giving the place five stars would be if the internet service was consistent and that the unit was right on the beach. But those of us who have lived on the island know that having any kind of internet service is a blessing. The beach was a 5 minute walk from the unit, which is not the end of the world. Red Hook is within a five minute drive from the unit.
Owner's reply:
The beach from our unit is just down about 12 steps...not sure about the 5 minute walk.
Interent service has never been a problem as we have free WIFI.
Washer/dryer has it's own small room.

great size for 6. very close to beach and a great fun bar. the sheets and bedding need to be changed. very 80 s..and please free Internet . And if only the sliding glass doors would open without killing yourself!

We really enjoyed the condo and where it was located. Very close to the beach, great view of the bay. We had full acess to the Elysian property, which was right next store. Condo is close to Red Hook and St Thomas. Overall,we enjoyed the entire experience. We are planning on returning to the location next year.

Family winter escape

We could have not been more pleased with our stay at Cowpet this winter. The accomodatios were lovely, as were the helpful, friendy staff. The beach, as always was breathtaking. My two teenagers and I go to the islands every winter and will book through VRBO from now on. We have booked directly through resorts in the past, not only to be disappointed in our accomodations, but we also paid significantly more. Your website provides a personal touch and provides accurate descriptions of each unit. Next year, we will use your services to book another trip to STT, and we will spread the word to others to use your services to plan the trip of their dreams. Thank you!

I stayed at the Elysian Resort for 4 nights with a few girlfriends. The Elysian was extremely comfortable, modern, clean, etc. The beach was great -- always plenty of chairs and wonderful swimming area. Our room was one of the farthest buildings but was still an easy walk to the beach and had a water view. There were 3 balconies which we loved during sunset. All-in-all a great vacation and I would definitley go back to the Eylsian.

Our family vacation was wonderful. The villa was very nice, the view beautiful and the owners were very accommodating and friendly. We definitely would stay there again. I will gladly give my family and friends information on this villa. This was the first time I have ever written a review on any of the places I have stayed. The experience made me a little nervous until I saw the place and met some of the neighbors. You can't always tell by a picture what the place is going to be like but I was extremely happy after we arrived.

cowpet bay east...number 28

We had an unbelievable vacation in cowpet bay....the unit we stayed in was gorgeous with 4 bedrooms and each bedroom had its own bathroom!!!! The upstairs was a master bedroom and bath with its own balcony. Beach was gorgeous, staff was friendly. I can't say enough good things we would love to go back.

June and Steve were incredibly nice and helpful, particularly when we had trouble with internet access (restored within a day) and a flat tire about an hour before we needed to leave to catch a flight and no lug nut wrench with our rental car. There were already beach chairs and sand and water toys for our little one (also a stroller and pack and play). Cowpet Bay is a great ittle community- a beach with lovely lapping waves, palm trees and beach chairs, two great restaurants, and the amenities of the Elysian Resort. We could not have picked a better place to go with little kids. The condo is only a few steps to the beach. Our little one loved the iguanas that occasionally criss-crossed the beach (though Mom was a bit lizard shy). There were the general annoyances that can be expected of the tropics (mildew from the recent rains and some ants - which I understnd that June and Steve now know about and will take care of), but the condo was otherwise quite nice with a lovely view and awesome location.

we had a great time. The condo is beautiful. The view is great. The only criticism which is not of this condo is that there is nowhere to walk. This is a gated community with a small beach which is beautiful but not setup for walking. People were walking up and down the driveway. This is the same in all the communities on St Thomas. But this area is beautiful and the people are great.
