Description of the Cozumel vacation condo rental
Casa Caribe Azul, a newly completed luxury two bedroom/two bath Cozumel Condo is in, undeniably, one of the most prime locations in Cozumel. The view from the private terrace is stunning.
Located on the ground floor directly in front of the pool. No elevators or stairs to deal with. Just step off the terrace and enjoy.
Stepping through the front door, you will be astonished by the panorama of impossibly blue turquoise waters that can be viewed through the sliding glass doors that lead to your private terrace. Step off the terrace and you are at the beautiful tri-level heated pool and the Beach area. You will definitely enjoy the direct access to the pool, beach and Ocean that this condo offers.
Built with luxury in mind. Granite countertops, beautiful Mexican Tile, three-zone air conditioning, FREE High speed Internet, FREE calls to the United States. FREE Dish Network satellite TV. Water is purified throughout the condo with U.V and reverse osmosis technology.
The Master bedroom is adjacent to the terrace and has a king size bed with a (Select Comfort/Sleep Number t/m) mattress. Guest suite beds are Select Comfort as well. If you have never slept on one of these, you will not believe how nice it is to be able to customize the firmness to your own liking. The Radisson hotel chain now uses Select Comfort exclusively.
Both bedrooms have their own private bath with Granite countertops, Kohler fixtures and beautiful Mexican tile throughout.
Casa Caribe Azul is perfectly located. Just south of the town of San Miguel. There is no car rental needed, as you are just a few minutes walk to town, excellent dining and shopping. There is a large grocery store (similar to a super Wal Mart) one block away.
Convenient to everything and you have the beauty of the Ocean right in your back yard.
We chose this location after searching for over six years.
If you are arriving at the Cozumel airport, our representatives will meet you upon arrival. They will help you get settled in and provide you with all the information that you may require.
If you are flying into Cancun, please call and we will help you arrange transportation to Cozumel. There are several options.
Area Description
Over the past five years the number of condos available in Cozumel have exploded. I can see how difficult it could be for the first time visitor to Cozumel to find the best experience available. As an owner and long time visitor, I offer the following suggestions on what to look for:
PROXIMITY TO THE OCEAN
Is the property right on the Ocean?
Don’t compromise. Whether it be crossing a busy boulevard or a enduring an elevator ride it is not necessary. We are located right on the Ocean. Step off the terrace, and you are at the beautiful tri level pool and beach.
LOCATION
How far is it to town and grocery stores? You get dropped off at the condo and you have no groceries and refreshments. Now What?
San Miguel is where most of the excellent restaurants are located. San Miguel is also where all the action is. Shopping and Sunday night town gatherings are just a few of the activities that you do not want to miss. Many properties require car rental or taxi fares that rival the cost of dinner. We are any easy walk to town. We have a wonderful grocery store one block to the south. No car rental or taxis are necessary.
AMENITIES
Does the property offer free U.S. Cable TV, DSL and Free long distance to the U.S. and
Canada?
Is the condo an extension of a resort which handles overflow or is it a dedicated private resort? Casa Caribe Azul is located in El Cantil, which is the only FIVE STAR Private Resort on the Island.
Is the square footage adequate for the number of people? Don’t be cramped in a small spec condo. Check the square footage.
Don’t gamble with your vacation. Look at the reviews carefully and see what the previous vacationers have written. If they don’t have reviews ask why. Don’t take a chance on an unproven property.
For divers, this condo is ideal. Most dive operators will pick you up at the dock adjacent to the beach. You can relax on the terrace while awaiting dive boat pick up. There is an ample rinse tank and well ventilated and locked storage for wetsuits and gear. Dive tanks are available next door at the dive shop for shore diving.

We recently returned from spending Valentine's Day week in 2009 at Casa Caribe Azul. The experience was everything promised. We have been traveling to Mexico and staying in condos for 10 years. This unit was a little more expensive than what we usually pay, but all of the advantages make it a value. The unit is larger than most rental condos. Free phone to US, free wireless internet access (with an onsite laptop to use) and dish network TV (which we DIDN'T use)and a dvd player are all extras we are not used to. The unit had plenty of room for our 2 couples. Everything in the unit is made from first class materials and it is very clean and immaculately maintained. Check in and check out are handled quickly and easily. The location is VERY convenient. We walked into the heart of town every day - it is an easy walk. There is a huge grocery/department store (Mega) that is almost directly across the street. If you just want beer, snacks and breakfast items, you can get them there. If you want fresh fish or steaks to cook (or have cooked for you) and fresh fruit and vegetables, you can get that too. If you want something in between - say some rotisserie chicken with deli side dishes for an easy and economical meal you can (and we did) get that there too. Need suntan lotion or snorkel gear or a new hat or bathing suit? All right handy at Mega. Tips we got from Mark (the owner) about where to rent a car, good restaurants to frequent, and best places to snorkel were also most appreciated. The vacation experience at Casa Caribe Azul gets 2 thumbs up from all four of us.

We are wrapping up an 8-day stay here at Casa Caribe Azul. We had a fabulous vacation, and the condo was perfect for the four of us. Larger than most condos, very clean, very safe, and very centrally located to everything. The restaurants recommended by Mark were great. We especially loved La Veranda; went back twice. And we had to take Mark up on his dare...he was right, the margaritas at La Mission Parilla were "killer" & oh so much fun!!! Good times!!! Snorkeling around the island is awesome, and their tips on the best spots were right on. Thank you, Mark & Lynn, for making it so easy. We can't wait to come back! Mark's condo at Casa Caribe Azul was perfect for us and our friends (another couple). We stayed the last week of Jan 09 and were very happy with the location and cleanliness of the condo. Mark's recommendations of things to do on the island and places to eat were great and we feel like we really were able to experience Cozumel. We walked everywhere, except to the marina for the dive boat and a jeep rental one day to tour the island. Caribbean Divers (another recommendation) did a great job of catering our 3 days of diving. Groceries and everything else you need is within 2 blocks and the maid service is superb. Tip them well and you can pack light as they will gladly help with laundry. This was a great trip and a positive change from "resort living". A very good value with the low cost of dining out or groceries. Thanks again Mark for letting us stay in your home away from home.

Our stay at Casa Caribe Azul was wonderful.We have been going to Cozumel for more than ten years to scuba dive. We have stayed at many high end hotels including, El Presidente, last year. Mark and Lynn's condo surpasses any place we've ever stayed. It has all the amenities one could ask for, including daily maid service, free long distance phone to the US, satellite television, beautiful setting, pool, etc. Additionally, the location is perfect. It is across the street from the grocery store and a short walk to town. As divers, we really appreciated the rinse tank and convenient dive pier. There isn't anything negative we could say about Casa Caribe Azul. We will definitely return next year! Thank you to Mark and Lynn, Jimmy and Laurie, and Felipe!

A big thank you to owners, Mark & Lynn and caretakers, Laurie & Jim for making us feel right at home at Casa Caribe Azul. Our family vacation (Apr. 15-22, 2008) was fantastic largely due to this slice of paradise you allowed us to enjoy. I asked our 8 yr. old what souvenir he'd like to bring home from Cozumel and he said, "can we bring the condo home?". That pretty much sums it up for everyone! Thank you again - you have a beautiful home in a perfect location. We are already planning our next trip to Casa Caribe Azul!
A new condo property on the south side of town that rents out units by the night or the week. The rates listed below are probably going to go up because they're tied to management and insurance costs, but this place is worth checking out because it's an attractive property with large rooms and convenient location. There's a sandy area for guests and a beautiful seaside pool and Jacuzzi, as well as a boat dock and easy entry into the sea. Extras include free long-distance calls to the U.S.
