Description of the Crescent City vacation home rental
need to be right at home. The home can comfortably sleep 5 people; 1 queen in the master bed room, two twins with a
pull out trundle bed in the other. Full laundry room for your convenience, 1 car garage with handicapped ramp for easy access, fenced back yard, and large patio for summer Bar-B-ques. We now offer daily, weekly or monthly rates.
Unfortunately fireplace is currently out of order, but should be working again soon.

Perfect house, perfect location!

This was our second time staying at this house and we love it! The house is great for a family and the location is awesome! We managed to lock ourselves out the first morning we were there so i had the pleasure of meeting Debbie when she brought us a spare key. We plan on returning next year! Thank you for a great stay!

Enjoyed the house very much even though it was cold and had to use the space heaters that was provided. Have not yet received my pet or cleaning refund, and no reason as to why I have not, I felt I left the house as clean as I found it.

We were here for one month and found the property very comfortable and clean. The owner was responsive to our needs for some small repairs. The beach access is great. This accommodation is not fancy but the price is right. I would recommend it to others.

My bulldog Otis & I spent the MLK holiday weekend here. Besides being 1 block from a beautiful beach, I could not get over the thought that went into what seemed to be a fairly recent renovation. From the draperies to the linens to the well stocked kitchen, it is clear the owners knew what they were doing. I have stayed all over Northern Calif, Sonoma, Guerneville, etc. & this rivals any place I've been & what a price! Of course, we were fortunate enough to be in Crescent City on a beautiful sunny winter weekend, but even a cloudy one would be fine. The backyard was a huge bonus...to be able to just open the door & let Otis out, without worrying, was great! A very worthwhile stay.

Great Beach Cottage

The perfect beach cottage within a block give or take from the beach. If you love to walk this is a place that offers so much within a short distance. The area is clean, safe and beautiful and the lighthouse is a short distance, easy walking. This cottage is well kept and very clean. The master bedroom has a great bed...many good nights sleep. The only negative might be the television and the cable service. The TV is old and the cable service is limited to just a few stations. This wasn't a big deal for us but if you have gamers in your family it could be an issue. There is no HD connection to the TV just the standard RCA jacks. We spent most of our time on the beach even with tough weather. Debbie, the owner, was great to work with and made our connection very easy. We plan to return this summer!

had all basic needs required. Nice kitchen. Cable service was spotty. Nothing fancy but well kept. Could use some minor maintenance such as re-caulking the tub,put up a new shampoo holder in shower, have couch cleaned. These are simple fixes and would have made this a solid A rating. I appreciated the extra heaters as it can get chilly in crescent city. Overall was a good location just a couple blocks from beach. We felt comfy and safe. Much better then any local hotel could offer.

We really enjoyed to stay in this house for our Christmas time. Comfortable, spacious, with all accomodations and so close to the pier for the crab fishing!! Nevertheless, the owner still have to work on the heating system in the living room, we were lucky that the weather was nice and sunny.

This coastal cottage was absolutely ideal for our needs. So many amenities made it so comfortable for us. Fully furnished with appliances (especially w & d ) made this vacation so homey and relaxing. Two things that would make this home better would be an upgraded heating system and an upgraded TV, but apart from that.....we would definitely stay here again.

Our family wanted to go see the giant redwoods in California. This little house was the perfect home-base for our vacation. The house was clean and comfortable. Our toddler loved the basket of toys. The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked nearly every night due to food allergies in the family and we had everything we needed. We absolutely loved all of the outdoor activities. The beach at the end of the street was rocky, but it was only a short walk to a nice sandy beach by a park (again loved by our toddler). It was a perfect location for visiting the redwood national park. We did lots of hiking and exploring. Our only complaint was the lack of dining options in Crescent City. What was available was overpriced. Overall though it was a fantastic vacation.

We stayed in the cottage with our friends and enjoyed every minute of it. Great location, comfortable and clean. We found everything for perfect relaxing vacations, even BBQ on the backyard. Area is quiet; access to highway is close and convenient. We found lot of information about local attractions on coffee table and it was big help in planning our day trips.

Pros:The house is well maintained and clean, has a great backyard and is located near the beach. The kitchen is fully equiped and you can do serious cooking if you wish so. Some games and toys found in the closet (well organized) added good hours of fun for my kids. The place is great for small families, couples and seniors, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, so it isn't a good place for party people. Cons: The pumbling in the laundry room needs to be fixed, as the drain floods a little even with small loads. One of bedrooms need more ventilation, as its windows face a tree and the closet shares a wall with the bathroom, although threre wasn't any signs of mold, the smell of humidity was very strong. Maybe some store bought anti humidty products placed in the closet and the corners of the room would fix the problem. Overall we had a great time and would recommend

My family and I had such a great time at the Coastal Cottage! Even though I read the reviews beforehand I still didn't expect how wonderful the house was. Everything was very clean and super comfortable. There was anything you might need in the kitchen and having a washer and dryer was great! My husband and I really loved the bed and were very surprised at how comfortable it is. Our three children had plenty of room in the second bedroom. It was much larger than I anticipated! We are already looking forward to returning next summer! Thank you so much for a fabulous stay!

We had a wonderful time!! My husband and I stayed for a week, enjoyed every minute. House was very clean, very cute and just across the street from the ocean. We had the windows open every night listening to the waves. Garage was wonderful to park in, bed was comfy, bathrooms were great. Kitchen was stocked with pretty much any utensils you needed. We had a great time at this rental it was a nice vacation and very relaxing. I was actually shocked at how great the place was for the price!! I made an opps by showing up too early that was my mistake though. This rental was perfect for me and my husband and our 5 small children. Our favorite part was waking in the morning and walking down to the beach when the tide went out to discover and explore. This is closer to the beach then you think!! Save yourself a couple hundred bucks and skip the big house that rants about how wonderful it is and go here it is very special and we will go summer and summer again as long as its still renting!!

Considering the price of this home, I was not expecting it to be so clean, convenient or comfortable...but it was!!! The location was awesome, and the home was very spacious and well appointed, I only wish I could have stayed a few more days. I would describe it at homey, romey and adorable, and it was so clean, I was absolutely comfortable cooking, eating, bathing and walking barefoot in the house. Looking very forward to coming back some time, and I am very greatful to have such a nice and affordable place to stay.

We traveled to Crescent City to attend my son's wedding. We needed accomodations for 4 adults and a small child. The cottage was perfect for us. We found it to be everything we were hoping for. It was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with linens, blankets, and towels. It was great to be able to walk a short block to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay. The home was just perfect, everything we could have wished for. Only a block and a half from the ocean. The home was so comfortable. We even had a pan to bake our freshly picked Black berry pie. Home was clean and pet friendly. We would certainly want to stay again. Thanks to Debbie and Robin for allowing us to stay.

This house is so well kept, organized and clean! Just a block from beach view and there is a (very partial) view from the living room. The back yard is huge, the neighborhood is quiet and the town has a Safeway and a Ray's. The queen size bed is very comfy, really nice after a long road trip! The town is close to lots of outdoor (redwoods/beach) activities and even indoor (casino) Also, nice to have a driveway to park instead of curbside.

Very Clean and updated for the price. We were very impressed with the rental it had everything you needed and was very nice and tidy. Very close to the ocean, we enjoyed daily walks to the beach. You really can't beat it for the price! The only thing we noticed is that the backyard isn't actually fenced in,we had two small dogs with us so that was the only issue we had. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and very much enjoyed the coastal cottage!

The house was extremely clean and convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed and a quick two block walk yielded a picturesque view of the sea. Very easy to get to Redwood Nat'l Park. I would highly recommend the house.

Had a wonderful stay. Everything you need on a vacation is right there. Just pack your clothes and your good to go. Just a block to the beach and short drive to walk through the redwoods. Highly recommend!

Our visit in mid was partly business (great central location between Coos Bay and Eureka, where we did our business) and vacation to get away from our Sierra Nevada, Mother Load, freezing, snowy home, was a success because We are both coastal-raised and always miss the Pacific weather. And "Pacific weather" we experienced to the fullest, with gale winds and rain, but one beautiful sunny day and remarkable sunset, just a block away. We love the kitchen and bath layouts. The kitchen especially, since the "best" eateries were closed for the winter, so we cooked a lot at reasonable cost -- thanks to nearby (15 minute walking distance, if you want the exercise) Safeway and Ray's markets. The gas fireplace ensured the house was kept comfortably warm during the storms, and we noticed no chilling drafts. What else to say? We are now considering a summer stay, this time to get away from out normal 100+F degree weather. Oh, yes, the cost is very reasonable, given our other coastal choices -- Monterey, Half Moon bay, Mendocino -- would have cost us two to four times what it costs to stay in Crescent City, without the crowds, and worth the enjoyable 450 mile drive!
