Close to beach and good view!

It was great! You could walk down to the beach but being at the beachhouse behind the hill of sand, you couldn't see anyone else on the beach so it made it seem very private. We had a mixed crowd of 20-somethings and and 50-somethings and it worked well. Lots of room. Had to use the ferry to go into Galveston (only twice) but even though they say there is no wait, it's an hour easily and that was not on a holiday weekend. But Galveston was not the draw, the beach and water were! It had everything we needed for meals and the perfect setup for a crowd. We'll be back!
