Description of the Crystal River vacation home rental

Welcome to The Chart House! This stunning home is located on a deep canal in Crystal River with direct gulf access and no bridges. The home is divided into two completely separate luxury units: the Bimini suite (upstairs) & the Key West suite (downstairs). This listing is for the three-bedroom, three-bathroom Bimini suite that will sleep 6-8 people. It is approximately 10 minutes from King’s Bay and 20 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico by boat. The Bimini suite has it own private dock, a fish cleaning area by the water. The suite features 2,400 square feet of living space upstairs and was completely renovated in May 2010. It contains only brand new, high-quality furniture including Sealy Posturepedic® mattresses and Broyhill® furniture. There is a great room, stone-gas fireplace, and a sleeper sofa.

The suite also offers an open, eat-in kitchen with all of the amenities. The master suite has a California king bed, a private bath, and a two-story wood deck offering a magnificent water view. The second suite also has a king bed and private bath. The third bedroom features two twin beds. In addition in the living room there is a pull-out Queen size bed. Linens, towels and paper products are provided for your use. There is a stainless steel gas grill available with plenty of propane to cook up your fresh catch!

Area Information

In Crystal River, there are plenty of things to do for the whole family, including world-class flats fishing in clear waters for red fish, trout, Spanish mackerel, cobia, and tarpon. Crystal River offers one of the few remaining areas to scallop in Florida during the summer. You can catch freshwater bass and trap blue crabs off the dock, or look for manatees and dolphins. Offshore, there is terrific shallow and deepwater grouper fishing. Within a short drive, there is a mall with a multiplex movie theater; restaurants and shopping in historic downtown Crystal River; kayaking; Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park; Crystal River Archaeological State Park; walking and bike trails; scuba diving; and swimming with the manatees. Plan a day trip to any of the nine state parks within 50 miles or work on your back swing at one of the 12 nearby golf courses.

The Bimini house is fabulous! It is true that the pictures did not do it justice! The house was very spacious and nicely decorated. The fresh fruit and flowers were a nice touch. We would highly recommend this rental!

The house was beautiful. Very roomy and nice. We sat on the dock for hours in the afternoon/evening trying to catch the tarpon we saw rolling in the canal. Got one into our hands and it started fighting and got loose. Had one hooked two more times but it broke the line. We had a wonderful time, we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

The pictures do not do justice for this rental! Very spacious and clean and decorated beautifully. The yard is so well maintained and every detail within the home is geared to the guest. Added details such as a fresh fruits basket and fresh flowers in each bathroom was a welcomed surprise. We were able to watch manatee from the dock as well as an alligator. We will definitely be back!!!!

This home has it all. My husband and I stayed at the house along with two other couples and it was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and plentiful in space. The kitchen had everything we needed for to do our own cooking. The screened in balcony was perfect for those relaxing evenings after a day of scalloping to watch the sunset. I will be returning.

This is a great place in which to spend a long weekend, a week or a month. Two couples, plus four leg friend, stayed there in early June and everything was like new. The house sits on a waterway and we were able to keep our boat right behind the place. I highly recommend it.
