Description of the Crystal River vacation home rental

PRIVATE ISLAND HOME
This is not a canal water front home. It is a totaly private island home rental. Other than the 12 foot wide 250 foot long land bridge you come in on, this property is surounded by nature and wildlife. We are slightly more money than a house in a row. But you get so much more starting with use of 10 kaykas and 2 canoes. This alone could save a party of 13 $650.00 a day.

The island has a 45 x 18 foot solar heated pool, 2 spas soon to be 3!. 45 Foot tiki hut with marble counter tops and wet bar cooking area. Fire ring at waters edge with furnished wood. 1, 50 inch HD tv. 1, 47HD tv also tv in each master bedroom. Each home has dvd. Each home has large screened deck. We also have privacy you will experience no where else.

Each home sleeps up to 8 guests. Book both homes For your group only, family reunions to 20 people over night and up to 40 with day use. We are a private island between Crystal River & Homosassa. Book manatee tours, jet ski tours to see dolphin and out islands, fishing guides or relax on the island in the pool or one of the jacuzzis, hammock, sky chairs or star gazing chairs. Cook your meals in one of the full kitchens and kayak as much as you'd like, between the cost of eating out and kayak rental, this is a value-added vacation. Land access to the island with a security gate ensures the safety and privacy for your group. Screened in porches on both upper and lower homes with grills for guests use along with supplied towels, linens, dishes and everything you'll need for a perfect vacation in Paradise!

Area Description

This private island is located in the middle of the lost Ozello Keys. Take a step back in time to a remote fishing village, known for its fishing for reds, trout, tarpon and more. Kayak and explore area used by Native Americans. Just 15 mins from Crystal river or Homosassa you will find all the shopping and restaurants you would ever want. On a average day you will see about 6 boats go by the the island. With open water views all around this can make for the vacation of a lifetime.

A few from our company got together for a canoe/kayak outing on the Rainbow River and wanted a place to relax for the weekend. This was the perfect place with pool, hot tub, grill, and fire pit. Next time we'll just stay in one place and use the available canoes and kayaks at the house. Ken and Sunshine,the owners, were very accommodating and made our stay extra special.

My kids loved the fact they could fish and kayak all week. They caught 2 large reds. and 30 trout. One after noon we all were coming back and up poped 5 dolhin. they jung around us for a bout 30 min

Having a private pool and 2 spas was a wonderfull expericance. On Tuesday we saw a group of dolphin swim by and fish the bank. We watch them for almost a hour th ekids loved it

We snorkeled with the manatee. It was a great expericance. Ken set us up with the best guide she was very freindly and helpfull.
My husband caught 30 red drum. All over 26 inch. Was the most and the biggest fish he ever caught.
I loved sitting at the bonfire surounded by water and watching the stars. It was the most relaxing vacation we ever had.
