Homosassa 3/2, sleeps 6-8, Pet Friendly on 2.5 Private Acres

Luxuriously decorated 3 bedroom, 2 bath situated on 2.5 private, fenced, pet friendly acres. This is not just another rental! We offer personal services to you such as trip planning, in house massage service, pet accomodations. (Trip planning must be requested before arrival). There is also plenty of room to park your boat or your RV. Area hotels will cost you at least double, maybe triple, won't allow your pet and I guarantee it will not be as nice!


The Homosassa Getaway is located just a few blocks from Howard's Flea Market, off Cardinal St., Homosassa, Fl 34446. Great spot to shop and lots of homemade treats like corndogs, cinnamon buns, honey, donuts and plenty of fresh fruits. (They allow leashed pets to visit as well) We are about 4 minutes to downtown attractions including the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park. I would recommend this place if you like nature and animals. The cost is also very low. The Homosassa River and boat ramps are just around the corner from the Park. The springfed water park at Bucaneer Bay is complete with waterslides, nature trails, wildlife, boat rides and underwater mermaid show is located about 25-30 minutes from the rental.

Handicap Accessible,Garden Tub/Master Suite,Large Vanity Area, Walk in closet(master), Full Kitchen, Patio & BBQ Grill, Chain Link Dog Kennel, 60ft Dog Run, large dogs welcome here! Satellite TV in all Rooms, Massage by appointment ($50 1/2 hour or $90 1 hour).

In the kitchen you will find 6 qt crockpot, wafflemaker, coffeemaker, microwave, side by side fridge with ice/water on door, full size gas stove, pots, pans, dishes, untensils, and dish soap.

In the bathrooms you will find towels, wash clothes, hand soap, bodywash, shampoo and hair dryers.

WE SUPPLY YOU WITH THE FOLLOWING PAPER GOODS: 4 rolls toilet tissue, 1 roll papertowels, 4 trash bags, paperplates and aluminum foil.

BOATING:With seven "Outstanding Florida Waterways" to its credit (Withlacoochee River, St. Martins River, Salt River, Halls River, Homosassa River and Chassahowitzka River), Citrus County offers endless boating opportunities on both salt and fresh water. As if seven rivers weren't enough, we have 22 miles of inland lakes and coastline on the Gulf of Mexico. Canoeists and kayakers enjoy the new Citrus County Canoe and Kayak Trail, which extends eleven miles from the Crystal River to the Chassahowitzka River. The trail is clearly marked and conveys you through some of the county's most picturesque areas.

FISHING:Citrus County is one of the prime fishing spots within the state of Florida having pristine and productive estuaries. Our Gulf of Mexico coastline is famous for spotted sea trout, redfish, cobia (seasonal), grouper, spanish mackarel, sheephead, shark, black drum, jack crevell, bluefish, and tarpon. In 1993 the world record tarpon was caught right here. When it comes to fresh water fishing Citrus and surrounding counties have it all. Lake Tsala Apopka, Lake Rousseau and the Withlacoochee River offer outstanding fresh water fishing for large mouth bass, blue gills, stump knockers, and brem. Fish from the Gulf of Mexico from piers, buy boat, or local fishing guides will bring you directly to the reefs, grass beds and flats. Public boat ramps provide easy access to all of its major waterways.
