Welcome to Cusco, Peru- The Gateway to Machu Picchu! This beautiful American owned and operated property was completed in 2009. Just a few highlights:

* Winter Promotion: $50 discount on minimum 5 consecutive night stays through April 2013.

* Although not clearly disclosed, many properties advertise "per person" or "per room" rates . These rates are inclusive of the entire property and everyone up to 8 people (no deposit, per person/room charges, extra taxes or fees).

* A first quality water heater is installed for comfortable, hot showers. Reliable hot water is a must in the brisk climate of Cusco.

* An electric clothes dryer is available for guest use. Residential dryers are a rarity in Cusco, but ideal because laundry service can be expensive, and usually not returned the same day.

* Check-in as early as 8am and depart as late as 12 pm.


The property accommodates as many as 6 adults and 2 adolescents in comfort. The master room is equipped with private bathroom and large walk-in closet, 2 standard bedrooms come with complete closets, and 1 small room with twin bunk beds ideal for adolescents. The property is complete with a kitchen, living and dining areas with an impressive view of the city from the third floor. All bed linens, bath towels, kitchen appliances/utencils are included. Bedrooms # 2 and # 3- Standard rooms with full sized beds and large closets and drawers

Bathroom # 2- Primary bathroom conveniently located in the hallway

Bathroom # 3- Half bath located near the small bedroom

Bedroom # 4-Small room includes bunk beds (twin mattresses) ideal for adolescents

Kitchen- Includes refrigerator, stove and oven, dinnerware, glasses, utensils and cooking pans

Dining area- Hand made wood dining set with spectatcular view overlooking the surrounding city and mountainside

Living Room- Leather sofas and ottoman, coffee table, flat screen TV with DVD and CD/MP portable audio player

Rates: $109 dollars per night: minimum consecutive 3 night stay, $99 dollars per night: minimum consecutive 4 night stay, $89 per night: minimum consecutive 5 night stay. Rates include everyone in your group (up to 8 people).

PayPal payment in full is requested before rental confirmation. As reservations are often made several weeks in advance refunds cannot be offered. However, if travel dates change you may reschedule free of cost as availability permits.

The property is ideally located in the secure and tranquil residential neighborhood of Santa Monica, a few minutes drive from the Cusco airport , Wanchaq train station, Plaza de Armas, San Blas artisan district and hospital. The building is on Ciro Alegria street near the main street of Avenida de la Cultura, in proximity to San Antonio Abad University and near La Canasta supermarket. Here, grocery stores, ATM cash machines, internet cafes, laundry service, parks, restaurants and taxis are easily accessed. The location provides relaxation, space and comfort that lodgings near the Plaza de Armas do not generally offer. Rest assured, a capable security staff regularly patrols the neighborhood. The property is ideal for tourists wishing to spend a few days acclimating to the elevation before visiting Machu Picchu, and also great for longer stays to immerse in the many historical sites, museums, restaurants, nightlife, and daytrips.

Bed linens, bath towels and kitchen utencils are provided for your convenience. Within short walking distance on Avenida de La Cultura, restaurants serve Peruvian style "menus" that are inexpensive and usually include soup, main plate and juice. La Canasta supermarket is located here with an ATM machine and another just across the street.
