Oceanfront, gorgeous redwood log cabin with dock and float. Spacious redwood log home is perfect for family vacations, or a nice quiet retreat. The home has three bedrooms and sleeps eight comfortably. The oceanfront master bedroom has a queen size bed and a private master bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and shares a large full bath with double sink, with a large third bedroom which comfortably accommodates 4 twin beds. The Oceanside kitchen is fully applianced with new stove, dishwasher and small appliances. An open concept living room and dining room overlook the ocean as does the large separate family room. Front and back decks overlook the ocean and a lovely private setting just steps from the ocean's edge. The property is sunny and bright with spectacular southwestern views and sunsets. The night sky is brilliant with stars. Enjoy fishing, boating, bird watching, and hunting (in season). Located in Cushing Maine.

Cushing Maine is located in Midcoast Maine, 20 minutes from Rockland/Camden area. The home is located in a quiet pristine coastal town, known as the location for the Wyeth's painting "Christina's World". The peace and beauty of Muscongus Bay's rocky coast is welcoming and relaxing. A true get away.

Bring your boat and fishing rod, or fish from the shore for stripers and mackerel. Swim from the dock, explore the many islands and inlets of Muscongus Bay. Kayaks available for weekly rental. Day trip to Monhegan, Farnsworth Museum, Owls Head Transportation Museum, Pemaquid, Rockland and Camden, then return to the peaceful spacious log cabin for fresh lobster (available local) and great sunsets.

• Deposits: A Security Deposit of $500.00 is required to rent the property. The deposit will be returned with in one week of your departure provided the property is in the same condition as when you arrived and there is no damage to the property.
   
• Other Fees: Maine State Lodging tax is 7%. Kayaks are available for rent at a weekly rate of $125.00/per boat, including paddle and life vest.

There is something for everyone here. I vacationed with my son (8)daughter (9) Mother and Aunt. We saw dolphins. seals sea birds and caught a fish! The cove was shallow and safe for the kids to learn kyaking. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets bonfires on the beach and unmatched star gazin. This is our third year in row It was a great way to end summer vacation.

We couldn't believe the beauty and tranquility of Davis Cove Lodge! We had such a lovely vacation, viewing eagles, loons, cormorants, etc. The home is spacious, comfortable, all the conveniences you could ask for; the setting spectacular amid pointed fir and island views, Could not have asked for better! The Quimbys, Clarks and Beaupres

We have just returned from a fabulous vacation in Cushing ME at this lovely cabin. It is situated on the ocean with a spectacular view of the island and inlets around dotted with lobster pots. It was so peaceful and charming. The house is comfortable with large living and dining areas both facing the ocean. Susan was a terrific host and very knowledgeable about the area, she took us out on her boat which the kids loved and encouraged us to pick vegetables and rhubarb from the garden. There were indoor and outdoor games provided and we took advantage of the Kayaks too. It was a wonderful week and we hope to return again next year and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a true Maine experience.
