Waterfront home on Pemaquid Lake. (#7526)

Write a review Property is lodge comfy, clean, secluded and quiet! It is 5 minutes from a large grocery store, fast food choices, Round Top Ice Cream (Maine's best -- try the coconut flavors!), and 5 more minutes from the quaint village of Damariscotta. Kitchen is fully equipped. Parking for 4+ vehicles. We saw ducks and loons from the deck. Terrific views day/night from inside and out. Loft area has a full size bed and windows overlooking the lake; the other loft bedroom has a door. There is a large bedroom on middle floor and all beds had very comfortable mattresses and cute comforters. Washer/dryer in basement, but we didn't use. Large tub shower/bathroom on middle floor where kitchen/living area are (12 or so steps up from the driveway with sturdy railings). TV reception was limited to 3 local & 1 public station and all were only passable in clarity. 20 minutes from Round Pond for lobster; Saltwater Cafe in Damariscotta had very good dinners; Reny's was a neat shop. A wonderful stay in superb surroundings. Looking forward to next year. My family and I would highly recommend this cozy cabin. Beyond the well equipped living space, the lake view of the lake was a real treat and the easy access to the dock accommodated our kayaking and swimming. The Lake Home was far more that what was avertised. Perfect is the only word to describe this Cottage. The Cottage, the lake, the beach, and everything was superb. Just as it was shown. We boated, swam, enjoyed great times, went sightseeing, enjoyed pemaquid point and various seaside locations.. all from this central location. It's a short drive to Camden Hills park, Shopping and dining in Camden, going Whale watching, lobster fishing, and visiting with family and friends; all the things that make a Dream Vacation. Be sure to check out all the local stores and facilities that Damariscotta has to offer.
