Pack a picnic lunch, or walk to the famously romantic Ritz Carlton Resort with Spa and gourmet restaurants, to the new St. Regis Hotel and Spa (the spa is rated one of Fodor's top ten!) or just to the local coffee house.
The condo has vaulted ceilings, is light and bright and overlooks a quiet greenbelt area. It has a roomy bedroom with queen bed, full bath and generous closet/storage area.
Double doors lead to the bedroom; glass sliding doors from the living room and from the bedroom lead to the private deck with gas grill and seating area. There is also a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room, a private full-size laundry, and a very well-equipped kitchen.
High speed cable internet access: wi-fi ethernet, 2 color TV's with DVD players, VCR and a stereo CD player. Bed and bath linens, beach towels, umbrella and beach chairs are provided. There are maps, guidebooks, and a �local� dining guide, compiled by the owners.
Gourmet grocery shopping is nearby as well as numerous restaurants, golf courses, tennis and sailing.
It's ten minutes to lively Laguna Beach (home of the Laguna Culinary Arts School-(take a class!), or laid-back San Clemente with its great beaches (and its surfing schools).
Laguna Beach has the world famous Pageant of the Masters, Sawdust Festival and Festival of the Arts. Visitors often spend a day browsing the many fine art galleries and unique shops in downtown Laguna.
Nearby Dana Point Marina has shops, restaurants, harbor-side walking paths as well as whale and dolphin-watching trips, deep sea fishing, jet skiing, windsurfing and boat rentals. Or, catch the ferry to Catalina Island. Dana Point is home to the Ocean Institute, Festival of the Whales, Tall Ships Festival and the Doheny Blues Festival.
For those who want to wander a little farther afield--this vacation condo is located midway between LA and San Diego. Within an hour's drive: go north to Disneyland, the Getty Museum, Hollywood, the Studio Tours and all that LA has to offer...or go south to San Diego, including the famous Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Legoland and Torrey Pines Golf Resort.
The condo complex includes a large pool,2 spas and picnic areas.

We always enjoy our stay at Niguel Beach Terrace. I love the walking paths and beach area. This time we found our accomodations somewhat dated. The wicker deck chairs were falling apart. We had to buy seat cushions to sit on them. The BBQ was not what I expected. The ice maker was not working in the fridge. The kitchen knives were so dull we went and bought our own. The queen bed was ok but had a standard size mattress topper which made you feel like you were falling out of bed if you got to close to the edge. I don't usually like to complain but I thought that if these things were mentioned they might be addressed. When you are living in a place for a month you begin to notice the little things.

My friend & I returned home yesterday from a weeks stay at this Condo by the Beach, Dana Point. First feeling upon entering was immediate comfort, a genuine "Home away from Home" feel. The decor was a Cottage by the Sea, the essentials thoughtfully provided. All we had to provide was food! We were pleased and thrilled with our "great find"... We would definitely stay here again, almost hate to tell anyone of this great find by the sea, but it must be shared. Convenience, Location, and most of all, Comfort. Thanks!

Had a very relaxing time. Know there were places to enjoy the night life and beach but I chose the quiet type of vacation. Harbor was fun to explore. Beach was nice too. Loved my home away from home.

We had a very relaxing week. We spent most afternoons reading at one of the nearby beaches and playing games/cards at night. I am still moving at vacation speed in the evening. The condo was well-suited for us and in a wonderful location. We were pleasantly surprised that it was off PCH and very quiet. It also felt more like home than condos we have stayed at in the past.

Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay. The condo is very spacious, and with more cooking utensils than any condo we have ever rented. This place is so comfortable we felt like we were at home. Everything we needed for a day at the beach was readily available and the cool ocean breezes made our stay very comfortable, even on a few hot days. We found the location centrally located to many areas we wanted to see. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay.

We will forever remember Dana Point. We enjoyed boating on the ocean, swimming in the pool, and Lego Land. It has really been a home away from home and we appreciate the opportunity to be here. Of all the coastal cities between San Diego and San Francisco, this is our favorite!

The condo was perfect for our needs. We were here for a week for a family wedding and Dana Point was ideally located. The condo was the perfect retreat we needed after many long days. I had a great time in sunny CA with long walks and enjoying the beautiful city. The food guide was very helpful, and I enjoyed the harbor the most. I found the walking area on the cliffs overlooking the harbor and got some beautiful pictures. Thanks for letting us stay in the very beautiful condo-I hate to leave!

Enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect setup for a couple like us, out here to celebrate our 38th anniversary and birth of our beautiful grandson. Appreciated the close proximity to everything we needed. We hope to come often to watch our grandson grow and will certainly try to stay here again.

Once again I travel back to this wonderful area, this time however it is more permanent. As I house hunt, the condo is once again a great place, centrally located between Laguna and San Clemente. You've got the best of everything at your front door! The cool breezes, the ocean sounds, the pool, it's all terrific. Thank you for a great spot to "hang my hat" for a bit. Will always recommend this place to others.

We enjoyed staying in your condo, it was a nice interim retreat for us (11/01/03 through 12/21/04--after the sale of home in San Clemente and while waiting for new home to be completed. (It has a)good location, easy access to beach and a nice walk to neighborhood restaurants and coffee shop. It is quiet and private, unlike a hotel....Thank you again for putting up with our erratic schedule, we are very happy to be in our new home. We both have a great feeling about it.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself in the condo (1/21/03 to 2/28/03). It is so bright and cheerful and its location is just great. Within walking distance of the town of Dana Point and yet literally steps away from the beach. And the sunsets-OH MY!
