This four bedroom, two bath home is fully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. Located directly on the glorious Susquehanna River, this is an ideal vacation spot. The convenient river access is perfect for the vacationer interested in water sports: fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking, or tubing. Available for your use are a boating dock, kayaks and inner tubes. Not the active type but love to be outdoors during hot summer days? Come soak up the sun on one of the two decks; upper and lower, both with full views of the glistening river down below. Enjoy the relaxation on the deck while still being able to witness the rest of the families’ water endeavors. Also, the house provides a great opportunity to experience an unforgettable sunset or sunrise from inside the inside or out. The wildlife is likely to be scampering about during any time of the day. Geese, ducks, deer, turtles and numerous bird species are natural inhabitants of the Susquehanna River bank and are frequently seen from this location. In the evening remain outdoors without worrying about insects or other pests while spending time on the screened lanai. During the winter months, the snow covered mountain -view is astounding. On the property is a sledding slope where children can play safely under the spotlights in the evening hours. Inside warm up from the winter cold in front of the fire place nestled in the main living room of the home.
In close proximity are other forms of entertainment as well. The Capital City provides for an array of night life activities from elegant restaurants to jazz clubs and Martini bars to high-energy dance clubs. With the capital city being only ten minutes away the entertainment opportunities are endless. City Island, also located in the down town area, offers miniature golfing, batting cages, arcade games and horse and carriage rides. During the holiday seasons, City Island offers spectacular firework displays in addition to creating a festive environment of lights and decorations. The home field of the Harrisburg Senators Baseball team is also located on the island. Hershey Park and Chocolate World are less than 30 minutes away. With the property being located just off of Rt 22/322 travel is simple and convenient.

(6x8) Living room with fireplace and (6x8)dining room with fireplace. 1/2 bath with toilet and sink and 1/2 bath with shower tub and large lighted vanity.

2nd Floor
4 Bedrooms (12x24) master bedroom with sitting room, fire place and exit to balcony and sun deck overlooking susquehanna river. 1 full bath. Each private bedroom has 1 Queen bed. The master bedroom has 2 fold away cots each sleeps 1.

Private access to river for boating, fishing or swimming.
Duck hunting a plus. The adjoining Clarks Creek is perfect for the trout fishers.

10 minutes from the Pennsylvania Farm Show Building.

25 minutes from the great Hershey Park Amusement Park, Hershey Chocolate World and the Hershey Outlets.

30 minutes east of Lancaster Amish Country, and Dutch Wonderland amusement park, and the Lancaster Outlets

20 minutes from Lake Tobias, a wonderful petting zoo for the children and a drive through safari.

15 minutes from the Whitaker Center- Sunoco Performance Theater, Harsco Science Center and the IMAX Theater.

Historic areas within 15 minutes, include The Rockville Stone Arch Bridge, the oldest and largest in the United States.

Property is waterfront with trout stream running through stocked for the first day of trout April 4, 2009.

Less than 1 mile is the Community Park where adults and children can enjoy a friendly game of baseball or softball while others are BBQ dinner under the pavillion all in clear view of the children playing on the playgound.

In-house theraputic massage available with only 24hr notice on Saturday nights and Sundays. Cards will be available

Deposits: No security deposit required with current credit card information. 25% of rental fee to secure dates.
Other Fees: No other fees! All fees are to be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy 50% of rental fee refunded if received more than 60 days prior to arrival date. No refunds for cancellations received less than 60 days prior to arrival date No refunds for last minute reservations.

The house was perfect for our family, consisting of 4 couples and 5 kids, ages 7-13. The kids used sleeping bags and took over the floor of the master bedroom. The rest of us were in individual rooms. The kitchen was large enough for meal preparation, while the 2 tv's allowed us to follow sports as well as kid's programs. Since the weather was great we took advantage of recreation on the Susquehanna, and snuck in a couple of long walks as well. The owners were ready and willing to assist us in any way they could. We've been doing our annual fall family gathering for about 10 years now, and this situation was without question the best we have encountered.
