Description of the Davenport vacation townhouse rental

New luxury 3 bed 3 bath vacation townhome rental at Regal Palms resort. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, separate walk-in closet, and ceiling fan. The three bedrooms consist of a King size bed, a Queen size bed, and two twin beds plus a sofa bed in the living room to comfortably sleep up to 7 people. All linens and towels are provided. Other amenities in the bedrooms and bathrooms include large roman bath tubs, hair-dryer, safe, and alarm clocks.

The home is 1,376 square feet in total air-conditioned space. The living room has two comfortable sofas, full cable television, and DVD player for relaxation after long days. The kitchen comes with all applicances including microwave, dishwasher, and full-size fridge/freeze with cookware and utensils. Smaller conveniences such as coffee maker, toaster, and kettle are also available. And for those who pack light, the home has a separate laundry room with washer/dryer, iron, and ironing board for use.

The townhome is part of the Regal Palms resort with unlimited access to its private club. Included in the rental is use of its large tropical pool with sun decks, spa, and water slide. The water is heated year-round so the temperature is always perfect!

A comprehensive fitness center with a dozen pieces of exercise equipment and full locker rooms are also available for use. For indoor entertainment, there is a game room with video games, a pool table, and air hockey. Plus a separate business center offers internet access among other business services. And for the sports fan, the clubhouse has its own restaurant and sports bar.

Upon arrival, check-in at the 24-hour front desk reception at the resort. And if there are any needs during your stay, a conceirge is available to answer any inquires regarding local attractions and an on-site management service is available to attend to any requirements regarding the home.

The resort is located adject to the Highlands Reserve golf course and about a 15 minute drive to the Disney parks.

 Quick, Easy and Convenient!, March 3, 2008

The rental owner was quick, courteous and easy to work with. The location was great - very clean and plenty of room for 5 adults. The pool was warm and the lazy river was a lot of fun to lounge in. There is a supermarket located very closely to the resort, and Disney is a quick drive away. We have been staying in Florida at various places for the last 14 years and this has been one of the easiest. The resort is laid back and vacationing at this type of place allows you to do things at your own pace - no scheduled tours, no planned meals, etc. One warning - most of the grocers in the area (in most of Orlando, really) are horribly overpriced. If you can, try driving a bit out of the city for more reasonable prices. Granted, this had nothing to do with the resort or the location, so certainly don't think twice because of that! All in all a very good time and a great transaction. We would recommend and will likely work with the owner again!

This is a great facility. The Kids wanted to stay at the pool area all day. The Townhouse was very clean & roomy. The full kitchen was a blessing. We stayed home for breakfast every morning & dinner 3 times. Saving lots of money. Universal is about 30 min away.(without traffic) A great place for a large family(7 members)
