Description of the Davenport vacation townhouse rental
Villa Betty Boo is a stylish 4 bed/3 bath villa located at the prestigious Regal Palms Resort & Spa with waterpark & clubhouse. A Triple AAA/CAA (3 diamonds) & The Guild of Florida Owners (5 star) rated resort. The resort is the perfect choice for families, combining the facilities of a resort with the privacy and independence of a private villa. Villa Betty Boo is only 2 minute walk from the pool complex and clubhouse, located in a quite street. We have cable tv in all rooms free wireless internet in villa with free local calls, plus playstation 2 games console.
We are loacated very close to Orlando's Theme Parks, 10 minutes from Disney, 20 minutes to Universal.
Villa Betty Boo has 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, the 2 master bedrooms are ensuite with the 2 twins sharing the 3rd bathroom.
The first Master bedroom upstairs has a huge king size bed with cable tv and large bath with shower, it also has has a walk-in wardrobe.
The second master is downstairs and has a seperate entrance, with cable tv also. Both Master bedrooms benefit from their own private en suite bathroom.
The 2 twin bedrooms have cable tv's and share one bathroom upstairs. All wardrobes are doubles. The 2nd twin has the Slay Station 2.
Villa Betty Boo has a fully equipped American kitchen and a utility room with washing machine & tumble dryer. The lounge/Dining Room has dining table with 6 chairs 2 sofas and a coffee table, this room leads onto the patio. There are ceiling fans in most rooms also. Villa Betty Boo does not back onto other properties but has a relaxing lake view. We have cable tv in the lounge and all bedrooms with dvd palyer and telephone in lounge plus Free wireless internet.

REGAL PALMS RESORT & SPA has it's own on-site private WATER PARK. Set in 2 acres of tropical landscaped surroundings, with extensive sundecks, waterfall, 2 large heated pools, one for the adults and one for the children, a LAZY RIVER and WATERSLIDE plus a whirlpool/Spa! with the added benefit of complimentary towels and lounge chairs along with waiter service for the pool area. You can pick up the wireless internet connection from here and in the bar and terrace areas.
Regal Palms Bar & Grill is open daily offering excellent food and wines for a pleasant casual dining experience. With the added convenience of being within walking distance to your own home, no worries about drinking and driving!!! Whether you choose a light lunch on the Sun terrace or a full meal in the restaurant, there is a wide variety of choices which are very reasonably priced. The Sports bar broadcasts live events from around the world, (English Football too) while there is Live Music most Friday & Saturday nights, with Karaoke on Thursday nights & entertainment most days (in season).
The Games Room has a pool table, air hockey table and various video games machines. There is an internet cafe with 4 workstations and wireless broadband for use with laptops
The Spa Health Centre, offers guests Hot Stone Aromatherapy Massage for the body, tropically infused facials, body scrubs, waxing, laser treatments, manicures, pedicures and spray tanning to pamper your every whim, plus a Multi-Jet all-over Power Shower and Spray Tan Room. There is over 5,000 sq feet of luxurious indulgence into the world of spa treatments, fitness and wellness. You will find a further indoor heated Jacuzzi/Spa, Sauna Room, and a Steam Room to relax you after an invigorating workout. There is a gym with exersise bikes, treadmills & weights. The mirrored exersie room has classes for yoga, pilates & aerobics. There is also a spray tan room (if you need that in Orlando!), jacuzzi/spa, sauna & steam room.
Villa Betty Boo at Regal Palms is located on Hwy.27 in Davenport, 10 minutes from Disney, 20 minutes from Universal & Seaworld. Orlando International Airport is just 30 mins. drive with Sanford 50 minutes. Regal Palm is part of Highlands Reserve Community, which has its own golf course (located accross the road) There is an abundance of golf courses between 2 and 20 minutes drive. Publix Supermarket is accross the road and Walmart is 5 minutes drive from us. The many restaurants are within 5 minutes also.
Less than a 2 minute walk from the resort is a large Publix Supermarket selling everything you could possibly need for a villa holiday (try the hot fried chicken, the kids will love it!) They even sell English beer & cider! On the same site there is Chinese & Pizza take out resaurants, plus a new Applebee's homestyle restaurant. There is also a nail bar, English pub showing live sports from around the world, along with a bank, post office and pharmacy. There is a Walmart just 5 minutes down the Hwy.27 from us.
A mere 5 minutes drive on the Hwy.192 there is an abundance of restaurants, including the Outback, KW Kools (excellent oak grilled steaks) Hoolighans, Carabbas, Kobe Japanese plus many many more, all great value and quality food.

"Overall we were pleased with the Betty Boo2 villa. It was the perfect size for our group of 7 and we were comfortable-great for the little ones as well. The pros: The pool facility is amazing, even in the cooler weather we were pleased the water was heated to a comfortable 81 degrees. The location of the villa was a quick walk to the pool. Also handy was the nearby supermarket, Publix and the ever present liquor store. The villa was clean and well-stocked with a good supply of kitchen goods (pots and pans, lots of dishes) as well as a few unexpected extras such as tin foil and sandwich bags, birthday candles and dishwater soap. The three full bathrooms were a plus. The beds were cozy and clean. Ceiling fans were silent. We purchased attraction tickets from the front desk, at a surprising discount, and saved further by attending a sales presentation (voluntarily). The cons: The pool closed at 6 during our stay (low season) we did discover, however, on our last day that the interior hot tub (near the gym) is open nightly until 9. Other: You will need to hire or rent at least one car (depending on the number of adults in your party). Get yourself an area map. We stayed for 7 days and discovered various routes that cut our Disney commute to 15 minutes (down from about 30 if we just used the I4). A recommended stay. Bon Voyage "
"My best friend and I were looking for a place to stay in the Orlando area for a girlfriends getaway weekend. We found this online and were very pleased with the accommodations and location to local attractions. The property management company was also great. We called to ask for a blender and to have the furnace filter changed and it was done within an hour. Better than any other property or hotel Ive stayed at. "on booking this villa the correspondance prior to our stay with Bernie was excellent, we arrived after a delayed flight and headed straight for publix and yes the chicken is amazing... most of our stay we were out everyday so sadly although we paid for it we never got to experience any of the facilities that the Regal Palms resort had on offer. The villa was clean and comfortable and well stocked for us to eat in. I would definatly come back again everything is so near and easy... many thanks for a fab holiday "

"The property was in excellent condition, clean, comfortable and ideally located to both local amenities. 2 min walk to pool, bar, gym & spa. 8 min walk to local shops & restaurants. All Orlando area attractions within simple recah by car. I would highly recommend this property to all wishing to be in the Orlando region. The owners were also extremely helpful and we would not think twice about using the same property should we return to the location."

We just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had on our recent stay at Villa Betty Boo 2. First impression was it was so clean and like brand new. Everything we could need was there and more. The complex itself is first class - the pool was so good we almost didn't go to Disney! We ate a couple of times on the terrace and were not disappointed. Everything was just as the photos on your site - the beds were so comfortable. There was iron & an ironing board (a previous review mentioned there wasn't) Bernie, thank you so much for letting us check out late when our flight was delayed, you were an angel. PS - I think there must have been a change of staff as the ones we met were very friendly and more than happy to help. We will be back!!

Sorry about the key card, sometimes they play up I now have a lock box with a seperate key for emergancies.
With regards to the toilet, I do not use Regal Palms management and my manangement companies details are in the villa with contact numbers and instructions should there be a problem, had you contacted my management the problem would have been resolved immediately.
My directions actually say stay left after you exit for the 192 and head west, perhaps you read them wrong (I understand it was late). I have not changed the direction instructions and no other guests have had a problem with them.
I am pleased you enjoyed your stay in Villa Betty Boo, but sorry that you didn't deal with my management company, as you will see from my other reviews they are very prompt and attentive to my guests needs.

Comment: The house was great, really clean and welcoming.You need to get an ironing board, as I couldn't find one, but all the appliances were fine. I nearly sneaked the quilt from the main bedroom home!!!! How beautiful. The complex was good, the pool area great. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. They even checked us in for the return flight. Thank you very much for fitting us in at such short notice and we wish you lots of guests in the future. Regards Andy & Cheryl

"I was apprehensive at first to go there, because they had a good rate compared to a lot of others I'd been quoted and it was new. We were pleasantly surprised. The property was beautiful and spotless. Everything seemed new or relatively new. We had a snafu with the power the first night and their emergency contact addressed it asap. Disney is 15min and Universal about 25min if you don't know where u're going. Kids and I loved the cool lazy river pool area and slide. The staff says the pool is heated, but I must have thin blood; it was warmish, but frequent trips to the jacuzzi helped. Exercise room is nice with new equip. Nice backyard with an old, but usable grill. I recommend bringing some balls and stuff for outdoor play too. Bring everything they suggest for your needs (bar soap, garbage bags etc.). They have towels, plates and pots/pans, Washer/dryer are in the unit. Bring your own games. The gameroom is ok, but the games are not free. Also have daily poolside light activities/entertainment. There is no internet access from the room. You can get free internet access at the clubhouse with your own computer, but there's a charge if you choose to use their terminals. Overall, can't beat the value and comfort of having everyone in the same place. They had a breakfast buffet for about $8/per. Publix is a couple blocks down the street. We will be back!"

"Beautiful property. My friend and I went to Florida for a girly trip to do our Christmas shopping. Regal Palms resort is excellent and so convenient for shops, takeaways and restaurants/bars, some within walking distance, which is a bonus in Florida! The pool area was great and not too busy. Villa Betty Boo2 was lovely. Accommodation very comfortable and spacious. House was very clean and well presented. Would have been nice to have a welcome pack telling us a bit more about facilities at Regal Palms and surrounding area. Couldn't reprogramme the safe as someone hadn't left it unlocked when they left. However this was only a small inconveneience and not used to having a safe in villa anyway. Would definitely recommend to friends and hope to stay there again next year."
