Description of the Davenport vacation townhouse rental

Our holiday townhouse is situated in the lovely Regal Palms Resort and Spa Complex with a 2 acre water park!

Enjoy the comfort of our spacious home, with plenty of room for the whole family, for less than the price of a hotel room!

You can stay at our home on Regal Palms Resort where adults and children can spend the whole day relaxing at the water park, playing in the pools or relaxing in the sun.

The Regal Palms Resort and Spa Complex (Triple AAA/CAA) is a secure, gated location just 6 miles from the Disney attractions.

The facilities at Regal Palms Resort and Spa are second to none - there is a two-acre tropical pool complex with two heated pools, 3-story water slide, lazy river, waterfalls and extensive sun terraces.

The complex is located alongside the beautiful Highlands Reserve Golf Course, which is a challenging 72 par championship course with superb scenery. There are several excellent golf courses within a few minutes from the resort. Regal Palms is a Triple AAA/CAA (3 diamonds) & The Guild of Florida Owners (5 star) rated resort.

Our town house is the largest model in the resort with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms over two levels. There is a queen sized bedroom with en-suite, a double bedroom with en-suite, two twin rooms, a main family bathroom and downstairs toilet. The double bedroom and en-suite on the ground floor also has a separate external access.

There is cable TV in the lounge and in the 2 master bedrooms and a phone with free local calls. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you will need and there is a laundry area with washing machine and dryer. The dining area easily seats 6 and the lounge is very spacious and comfortable.

In 2009 we replaced the dining room and lounge carpet with wooden flooring, giving a lovely clean and open feeling to the family areas.

The on-site leisure club includes a fully equipped gym, spa and health & beauty complex. There is a large clubhouse with full restaurant, sports bar (which broadcasts live events from around the world), a business centre with internet connections, wireless internet and a games room.

There is a 24 hour Resort reception for check-in and additional items such as cots, highchairs and strollers are available to hire. A complimentary shuttle service is also provided which will take you to the Disney parks.

Within 5 minutes walking distance, there is a local Publix supermarket, takeaways, restaurant and local shops and banks. Other major supermarkets, bars, restaurants and shopping malls, including a Super Walmart, are all within a few miles.

Regal Palms Resort and Spa is off Hwy.27 in Davenport. Just 10 minutes from Disney and 20 minutes from Universal & Seaworld. Orlando International Airport is a simple 30 minute drive and Sanford 50 minutes.

The resort has a 2 acre swimming pool complex, perfect for having fun and cooling down after a busy day at the theme parks! There is a golf course just across the road and several others within a few minutes of the resort.

At the top of the complex, there is a Publix Supermarket, a Chinese, Indian and Pizza Takeaway and an Applebees Restaurant. There is a nail bar, English pub showing live sports, a bank, post office and pharmacy. Just 5 minutes drive away, there is a Super Walmart and a whole host of well known restaurants and shops.

Wonderful vacation home! We were delighted to stay in this immaculate, fullly furnished, and consists of linen, dishes, and a laundry room. The resort has a wonderful water park, restaurant, and shops. My family of 6 enjoyed staying in this beautiful home, and we had a great vacation!

My family and I arrived at 10am to our room being ready for us to check-in, which started our stay off great! Very clean unit and pictured online exactly as it is. Very large and clean swimming complex that my children loved! I'd pass on the on-sight restaurant - food stinks. Had a few minor requests that were fulfilled within the hour. Overall, a wonderful stay for my entire family and we plan to visit in coming years.

We recently stayed at Regal Palms in a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath townhome and it was wonderful. So close to Disney World and pools that were just great for the kids. When we want to do Disney again, we will definitely stay here.

What a great way to spend a week with the kids on a once in a life time trip. We went in Nov but being from Minnesota the kids enjoyed the lazyriver pool with 85 degree water. I would stay there again if we went again. There were things as anywhere that coudl be etter but I would have no 2nd thoughts about renting again. I wasn't aware that there was going to be a $100.00 for securtity deposit due once I got there, we had to go buy hot pads for oven as well as dish clothes for washing dishes, and I agree that a check list avail apon check in and check out would be nice, but over all I would recomend this unit to anyone, lots of room and having a grill on the back porch was very nice

We had a party of 8 with 3 kids and had plenty of space. Location is close to all the major parks, shopping is close, price is good. Only 2 bad things, our door key did not work 1 day. Maint. had to come re-program door. Other was pool area has no lights so they closed at 6pm which is the time we got home from the parks. Other than that we felt this was a great value.

We stayed for 9 days at Regal Palms and enjoyed every minute of it. The pool is AWESOME! The townhomes had everything we needed and very well taken care of. Your staff is very friendly and very helpful. We did your timeshare tour and recommend others doing it because you save a ton on the tickets to the parks with teh discount they give you. We will definetly be returning for another vacation!

We will, and already have, recommend this place to anyone going to Orlando. Being able to get a huge 4 bed, 4 bath condo for less than hotel rates is the only way to go. Tons of room for 4 adults and 1 youth. We ended up doing some grocery items so as to not eat out all the time...which worked out perfectly. Easy access to resort from airport. All the theme parks within short distances from complex. Shopping, restaurants, golf, all nearby. Cocoa Beach is only just over an hour away! Friendly and accomodating staff. The pool area is terrific! We ended every day with a dip and play time after a day at one of the theme parks. When, and if, we are able to make it back, we are staying here.

We booked a 4BR townhome for the price of a hotel room and we're glad we picked this development to stay. The pools are nice and well kept. The staff is friendly. The townhome, though more space than we needed for our family of four, gave us, mom & dad, room to relax when the kids went to bed. We ended up packing less, because of the washer/dryer in the place and spending less on food out since we had a full kitchen. It's an easy 15-20 minute drive from Disney. I would highly recommend this resort. We will certainly stay there again!

Great place to vacation!! Condo was very spacious for the 5 of us, well maintained and clean (except for blue silly string on ceiling and wall). Resort pool was our favorite place - waterslide and lazy river were great!! Resort personnel very friendly, efficient with check-in/out. Conveniently located - close to Disney, Walmart, dining, putt-putt. A few suggestions for condo - we cooked most meals and found kitchen lacking some basics like dishcloths, towels, oven mitt for handling hot pans. Another larger frying pan would be useful too, bacon and eggs in the morning for 5 people took quite a while with one small frying pan. Some thought beds were too hard and that the twin beds were too small for adults (one adult was only 5'6" and was uncomfortable). Dresser drawers were difficult to open. A checklist to note condition of condo upon arrival would be a good idea. Overall, we thought this was a great place and are considering visiting again next year!!
